Min & Tris
Okay, heres mine:
Name: Symphony Miller
Age: 16
Appearance: Symphony has long chest nut brown hair, it is naturally wavy and reaches to the middle of her back- much to her mothers dismay she has a single cobalt blue streak in it as well. She is quite short standing at only 5ft 2in. Her eyes are an odd shade that can be described as either blue or green depending on the lighting. In all she is a small girl, matching her quietness perfectly.
History/Personality: Symphony is known as the quiet girl at the back of the class doing everything the teacher said. This quiet image makes her an easy target for her classmates pranks and insults. After a while it started getting very stressful on her and she started self harming, she now has multiple scars on her arms and always wears jackets or long sleeves to cover them. Eventually she snapped completely and tried killing herself. She has a prominent scar on her stomach from where the knife she used went in, after this she went to therapy and now doesn't even think of doing those things anymore, but the memories will always be there for her every time she catches sight of one of her scars.
Other: is constantly writing or listening to music, these are the things that help her through tough situations now.

Age: 17
Appearance: Average height, roughly 5ft 5in. He has short dirty blonde hair which is often messy. His eyes are a really nice light blue colour which most girls think make him attractive, despite his personality.
Personality: When in school, he doesn't think before speaking, resulting in hurting other people's feelings and doesn't really care. He and his friends enjoy pranking people (such as Symphony) and are constantly in detention. Out of school, he's not a totally bad person because of his past.
History: James has a dark history which he hasn't told anyone.
Etc: Is actually quite smart and good at sports but refuses to try.
Kk
Symphony quietly walked into class and sat in her usual spot in the corner at the back of the room. It was the best spot to get out quickly after the bell rang. She opened up her notebook to a clean page and adverted her gaze to it as more people filed into the classroom.

Symphony listened as the teacher went over the last thing they had done. She sighed, hoping they would move on to the new chapter soon.

James leaned back in his chair and sighed. He didn't like this class much, he found it boring. He glanced round the room and knew pretty much everyone felt the same way.
((Sure))
Finally after what seemed like ages the teacher was done with the review of the last chapter and then turned to the class, "...so, with that being said the next unit will be a partner assignment. Each set of partners will portray a scene from the play you are assigned."
Symphony felt herself starting to panic when she heard the word 'partner' how was she sapost to work with someone else?

"No Mr. Harrow, i have already determined who will be paired together, i was about to get to that part until you rudely interrupted." She sighed and picked up her grade book and started reading off names, "...Anna and Josh...Blake and Drake....James and Symphony...Derek and Victor.." She continued down the list of names until she finished.
When Symphony heard her name called with James's she felt like running out of the room and hiding somewhere. There was no way she could work with him, no way!

The teacher put her grade book down and picked up a stack of papers, "....okay, now what I'm handing out now is some guidelines to follow, at the top is the name of the play you have been assigned." She started walking around handing out the correct paper to the correct students.
Symphony kept her gaze down on her notebook, trying to keep herself calm, it wouldn't be that bad, right. she sighed when her paper was set in front of her, she waited a minute before turning it over. When she did, her eyes widened a bit. At the top of the paper in italicized letters was the words: Romeo and Juliette. How could this assignment get any worse?

Symphony just shrugged and kept her gaze down, not saying a word. She didn't trust herself to look up at him, she knew if she did then she would end up bolting.

Symphony bit her lip, slightly sinking lower in her seat just wanting to disappear. so it begins she thinks to herself, still not saying a word. There was no way she could do this project, it was impossible. Why did the teacher even pair them up for this anyway?

Right then, the bell rang, cutting off their thoughts. "We'll work more on this tomorrow," the teacher chirped cheerfully. "You are dismissed."
James abruptly stood up, found his bag and stomped out not bothering to say a word to Symphony. If she wasn't going to say anything to him, then he wouldn't say anything to her.
Symphony quickly gathered her things and quietly walked out of the classroom. She could only imagine how horrible this project would end up being.

As James was walking to his next class, one of his friends asked, "Who was your partner for the assignment?".
"Symphony," he muttered.
"Oh," his friend laughed. "Lucky you."
"Shut up," James scowled angrily. "It's just for one stupid assignment."
((Yep))
~next day~
Symphony grabbed her textbook from her locker reluctantly. She didn't want to go to class but she had no choice. For a split second she thought about faking sick to go home, but that would ruin her attendance record quickly. So instead she closed her locker and started to trudge her way to class.

Symphony walked into class only a couple minutes before the bell rang. She took her seat in the back corner, as usual. "....another day of hell" she murmured to herself under her breath.

She bit her lip to keep herself calm. She shrugged, keeping her gaze on the desk. "....what all do we have to do for this dumb thing anyway." She murmurs.

She nodded, still not looking up. She knew if she looked at him then she would want to run even more than she did now, at least without looking at him she could try and pretend he was someone else. That was kind of hard to do though considering everything...

Symphony sighed and flipped through it, even though she already knew what all was there. "...why couldn't we of got a good scene, like when they kill themselves and end the torture of this stupid thing." She muttered under her breath.

She sighed before nodding, "....yeah, if i get a bad grade on this my mom will kill me...." She leaned back in her chair, keeping her arms crossed.

Symphony sighed, "....well since we just sort of learned about Shakespeare I guess she thought it would be good for us to be familiar with one of his greatest works." She shrugged, "....but who knows, after all she does sometimes wear christmas sweaters in July." She sighed before reading over the lines dully.

Finally, after what seemed like ages, the scene ended with Romeo and Juliet parting ways and Romeo finding out Juliet was a Capulet. Symphony sighed and set the book down, "....so the dialog doesn't seem too hard, and frankly no one will care about that or notice anyway if we screw it up..."

Symphony sighed, "....ugh, how are you sapost to sound enthusiastic when Your anything but.....i guess ill try though." She murmured.

Symphony sighed and tried to think of how that would even be possible. There was no way to be more enthusiastic when all she wanted to do was walk out on this project.

Symphony took a deep breath, if it was enthusiasm she wanted then fine, she would give her enthusiasm. She stated the next line loud and over dramatically, almost making it sound like a mockery to it.

A typical high-school romance with lots of drama - only it doesn't start out that way. A boy and a girl get paired up for an activity in history class that forces them into portraying a scene from Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet' only with a modern twist to it. The boy will be known as a 'bad boy' and completely full of himself. The girl is the exact opposite and she resents every moment she has to rehearse the stupid assignment with him. That is until she starts to fall for him. The guy could have a dark past he never told anyone about...
You want to play the girl, right?
