Often it does not send an email to advise that one's review has been posted. I now post my reviews first on Amazon UK, then on Amazon US, and finally on Goodreads, in the hope that by then the Amazon reviews have been processed. It doesn't always work out.

I'm jumping in on this one quickly. It is against group rules to comment on another member's review. K S gave her honest opinion of the book. She may have gotten a different message from the one the author intended, but that is her opinion, right or wrong.
We are not here to give kind or unkind reviews. We are here to give our honest opinions and as long as the review concerns the book and not the author personally, goodreads, amazon and this group allow it.
This is certainly not the place for a theological discussion.
Everybody--please note that comments may be left at each review (but NOT on this thread) even though Goodreads discourages responding to negative reviews.I know because I have received such a review. Goodreads sent me a nice message saying in effect, it seems you have received a negative review; we recommend you NOT respond.
When I first started reviewing and had a book that I thought deserved one star, I asked a couple of Goodreads friends for their thoughts. The general response was to be honest and compassionate, not to be hateful, to say something positive if at all possible, but not to compromise on what a reader might truly feel.
That is what we do, write as if we are readers of a book and record our reactions succinctly. Writers on politics and religion (or sports teams for that matter) must get used to strong contrary feelings expressed.
End of discussion, please.

amazon is not accepting my review of So What! Stories or Whatever.I keep getting the following error message:

Gita, might be a temporary error - I have to wait at least an hour before mine shows up on Amazon - till that time, even if I refresh and repost the review, it keeps giving me 'error' note too! So my suggestion would be to check Amazon after a while.

I've just received an idea from another reviewer in a different group (GSRG). It looks like a good idea to me, but what does everyone else think?This is his idea:
Some of us may like to up our reviewer rating on Amazon. How about if, after we read each others reviews, we go to the review at Amazon and click "helpful" if we like it?
