I just discovered this group because it was mentioned on KBoards. I'm mostly reading and writing in the fantasy genre these days (where I seem to write more about sex, but generally not graphic), but I also read a fair amount of historical romance, mostly Regencies. I tend to skim over the sex scenes. Every now and then, they add something crucial to the story, but I'm not interested in the graphic details. I've gotten used to skipping those pages, but I'd love to see some more recommendations for historical romances where I don't feel like skipping parts.
I've also written one Regency romance, which has some sex, but not a lot. If I write another I'll probably opt for fade-to-black!
