Hey

Hey! So I was kind of wanting to do like 17th century pirates, or sci fi smugglers or something- but do you have any ideas?

Um I'd do anything u like just elaborate it a bit since I've never come anything like this before :)

Okay lol

Well a slight plot perhaps for the pirate one would be, maybe our characters are sisters, or best friends, or something, and there's something in their past they're wanting to get away from- like they committed some crime, or maybe they're out of money and their only option was either to become prostitutes or disguise themselves on a pirate ship, and so they decide to go the route of becoming pirates. So they're basically just out buccaneering and such. Maybe there's some fabled treasure the captain of the skip is looking for or something, idk

And for sci fi, well maybe one of our characters could be a smuggler, and the other one is on the run from the law, and so they pay the smuggler to hide them, and soon they start to develop a friendship and the smuggler starts trying to help the other one clear their name?

I don't know those are just spur of the moment rough drafts

Sure thing. Real quick first, though, how do you feel about language? It's perfectly fine if you don't like it, I just want to know how to make the pirates talk lol

Jess had found a pair of men's pants and a shirt that hung loosely over her, and was pacing up and down, deciding whether she needed to cut her hair as well.

((Um I thought u knew :) ))

Ashley quickly ran out of the bathroom her hair in a high ponytail which she was now turning into a bun and putting a cap over it.She had on a checkered shirt and ripped jeans,and some shades.

((Okay lol well maybe let's say their parents died and so they're joining the crew to make money? Also I thought we were doing 17th century- do you prefer modern?))

Jess glanced over when Ashley came in. "Hey. You about ready?" She decided to just bunch her hair up in a hat as well.

Ashley smiled at her.'are you ready for this?'she asked giving her an encouraging smile.

((Okay lol- well have you ever seen or heard of pirates of the Carribean? ))

Jess nodded. "I think so. We're doing the right thing, right?" She asked, slightly nervous.

((Yess jack sparrow ))

'Yes we are'she put her hand on her shoulders'it is the right thing'

((Okay so it's basically that. You know how they look and act in that and everything, right? That's the time period this Rp is based))

Jess nodded. "Yeah. Come on, let's go, or we'll miss the ship."

She followed Jess nervous but excited and since they had nothing else to earn their living this had to be there only chance.

"Now, since we're pretending to be guys, I thought I'd go by Jesse," Jess said. "Do you have anything you were planning?" She walked out into the street where people were going about their business, and wanted for a carriage to pass do they could cross the road.

'Yes'she smiled.'you are now looking at ash'she pointed at herself.She was waiting along with Jess.

"Great," Jess smiled. She finally crossed the road and headed down to the dicks where the ship they were boarding was.

'Well we're here'ashley sucked in her breathe.She was unsure now.

Jess nodded and took a deep breath. "Here goes. Remember we're not supposed to be able to write, so when they tell you to put down your name just put an X," she said before taking a few more hesitant steps forward.

'Ok'she said breathing fast.She tried to steady her breathing and then walked with Jess into the ship.

There were a lot of tough looking pirates boarding the ship, but Jess tried not to look nervous. They were supposed to fit into this crowd after all. She walked up to the quartermaster of the ship, who was signing people on. "Hello Matey. Me 'n my brother Ash are looking to join your crew." She cast Ash a nervous glance.

'Yes we have just came to this city and just knew we had to work here'ashley said trying to make her sound as boyish as she could.

The quartermaster handed them the paper and Jess put an X for her name, then stepping aside for Ashley to do the same.

Ashley put the X and then stepped back and smiled at Jess.'guess we're in!'

"Yeah! Come on, let's see about meeting the crew!" Jess grinned broadly.

'Yeah'ashley did you know how she felt about meeting gruffly pirates.

Jess went up into the deck of the ship. All of the pirates were much bigger and more tough looking than them. "On second thought," Jess said nervously, "maybe we should just keep to ourselves."

'Totally'ashley agreed she was walking as she bumped into one of the men.

Jess froze and looked up at the guy Ashley had bumped into. "Um, hey."

Ashley froze and gulped.oh boy.

'Who are you fellas?'asked one of the men or boy you could say.

((Maybe there are two boys who get to know their secret and try to help them out))

((Yeah that sounds fun! :D ))

Another boy stepped up with him.

"Hi, um, my name's Jesse, and this is my brother," Jess said.

'I'm ash,and you guys are?'ashley asked in a hoarse voice.

'I'm logan'the one she had bumped into replied.

"Jack," the other said. "I don't recognize you guys. Are you knew?"

Jess gulped and nodded. "Yeah, we just signed up."

'We're brothers'ashley said referring to her and Jess.'it's our first day'

'Well you got a shrill voice for a bit don't ya think?'logan joked.

Jess immediately couched and tried to make her voice sound deeper. "It's asthma," she said lamely. "We both have it."

Jack raised an eyebrow skeptically. "Huh."

'Yeah,childhood disease'ashley said,making her voice more gruff.

'Haha,these two will be entertaining,don't you think jack?'he nudged his friend.
