Books 'N Booze Book Club discussion

This would not have been a normal book that I would have picked up and read. So glad I am in books n booze to try new things! Overallu I really enjoyed this book,

I really wished I could have made it to the discussion. This wasn't one of my favorites, but I do think there were some really interesting ideas in it. The escapism, and neglect of the "real" world,the falling in love with someone never met in "real" life, etc. Makes me wonder if we're already on the road to a version of this future, with our fb friends and online dating, hours spent on candycrush and online video games. I haven't finished the book yet, but I'm certainly interested enough to see it through to the end. I'm trying to get my 15yr old son to read it so at least I can discuss it with him!
