because i'm listening to the audiobook I'm having trouble keeping up with where I am within these sections on this.
Overall I am LOVING the story. I love all of the voices the narrator has given our characters (she truly is a talent) and I feel it really makes the story even more believable as a historical fiction in particular.
I love how our different plot lines are slowly coming together and intertwining. I love Memphis and Theta together! They're adorable. I can't wait to find out what happened in Kansas with Theta. Surely she's a Diviner as well.
I'm curious if Diviners are just so common that they're running into each other or if perhaps what is happening with the murders is pulling the Diviners toward New York. Because it can't be coincidence if they're not that common. I don't think Libba Bray would make the story so convenient. Very interested to learn more about that!
I'm loving that they aren't giving a spotlight to Evie and a love interest, which often happens in a YA novel. Obviously Jericho likes her and I think there is a spark with Sam. But its not a focus and I really like thats its not a forefront of the story. I am curious if we will get a love plot line for Evie later in the series though! We will have to see!
