I went in for 2 or 3 of these, but I didn't enter the last one. Or maybe the last two (I lose track).

It's one of those things where I would do it if lots of people did it, but I wouldn't if it was undersubscribed. And if everyone thinks that way then it doesn't happen as we all wait for everyone else to have a go.

Maybe if there was an authorly prize, like having one of your books promoted as a forum book of the month? That might get us all scribbling.

Hello everyone, one of the things I like about this section is that it gives readers as well as writers a chance to have a go, so offering an author incentives doesn't seem to be the whole answer. Undoubtedly sending out group emails is good for these and I will do that later. Oddly I saw no evidence that offering amazon vouchers had much effect either, from which I assume you are all too rich.
Changes at Amazon have reduced earnings to the group from sales to negligible, so there isn't any cash to flash either.
I am always open to suggestions though.
