Leni Iversen (leniverse) | 354 comments I've decided to re-vamp my A-Z. My original idea of reading only authors of one letter for a whole month became impossible the moment I also started to read Around the World and Across America. So now I'm sticking to one name per letter, though I'll allow multiple books. And I'll progress at roughly one letter per month still, so as to allow me time for the other challenges as well!

Looking at my A-B-C I also realise that I am doing an A-Z of classics, more specifically of English language classics. Certain letters are especially challenging when going for authors of classics originally written in English, but by going beyond adult prose fiction I think I shall manage.

A is for Jane Austen: Persuasion and Sense and Sensibility (read Nov. -15)
B is for the Brontë sisters, Charlotte: Jane Eyre, Emily: Wuthering Heights, (read Dec. -15) and Anne: The Tenant of Wildfell Hall (read Jan. -16)
C is for Wilkie Collins: The Moonstone and The Woman in White (reading Jan. -16)

Leni Iversen (leniverse) | 354 comments November has been and gone (and good riddance), and I got a bit too involved with my Around the World challenge so I didn't get very far on my list of letter-A authors. I did get A done though.

A is for Jane Austen: Persuasion and Sense and Sensibility

Over to December where B is for the Brontë sisters.

Leni Iversen (leniverse) | 354 comments In December I read Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë, and Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. Reading The Tenant at Wildfell Hall by Anne Brontë now in January.

My reviews of the first two can be found here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

And my view of the Brontë-sisters is nicely summarised by this cartoon. I am so in camp Anne!

Leni Iversen (leniverse) | 354 comments It's January and I'm multi-tasking by reading the final Brontë sister, Anne, and simultaneously moving on to
C is for Wilkie Collins

I've almost finished The Moonstone and I am enjoying myself thoroughly! So happy I have The Woman in White waiting on the shelf as well!
