I'm liking it so far but Roman is a little too cocky for me right now. I'm liking Rimmel. I have never seen that name before.

--So...they call him Romeo? I mean, I guess I can see how they'd get there from Roman but...really? Does he endorse this nickname? (And no, I have nothing against it or him; in fact, I usually love characters who go by Romeo WAY too much for my own good, because I know the instant I see that name the boy's going to do something stupid and hurt my heart.
--"You know you're a clumsy person when you cause other people to fall down." I like this girl! Except...why are the intelligent ones always clumsy? Can't there be a graceful smart person just once in a book? How about a clumsy jock? Why are jocks ALWAYS doing so terribly at their school work? Seriously, not all jocks are stupid, can't this ever be the other way around? I mean, I guess I should have figured from the title, but.... can't a JOCK be a nerd? I'm sure it's happened at least once... (hide spoiler)]

--LMAO! If Rimmel doesn't realize where Romeo and the blonde wandered off to and just what they're doing there, she's very oblivious. Or very innocent. Or both. Either way, what she's walking into is about to get very awkward.
--Also: "I didn't read fairy tales anymore. I read nonfiction." If I find out this girl has a "too good for fiction" complex I might scream. Just because you're smart doesn't mean you can't enjoy a good story. (hide spoiler)]

--The girl they choose for Romeo's hazing is going to be Rimmel, isn't it? Oh boy--this just gets more awkward the longer the book goes on! And it reminds me of that one movie--She's All That, I think it is? (I mean, plus about a thousand others, but that was the first one that sprang to mind.)

--Ugh. Okay, can I just say that at this point in the read I'm not nearly as fond of Romeo as I expected to be? The guy's a HUGE a**hole--and his friend, Braeden, isn't any better. They have serious "I deserve the best of everything and anything less than is gross" egoes going on. What are they, five? And HE'S supposed to be the love interest?! Just how much character growth does he have coming for him? (hide spoiler)]

--How IS IT she already has a crush on him when all he ever does is invade her space and act like a jerk?! She doesn't even KNOW the guy really! Does she enjoy being insulted? I REALLY love how this book goes in directions you're not expecting it to. Several times I was expecting Cambria Herbert to take the easy, cop-out way out of things or around them...But she never once did, and I ADORE that about this book. It kept me on my toes. (hide spoiler)]

I'm about halfway through (view spoiler)[I wasn't surprised about Roman disappearing in the library with the girl I was surprised about Rimmel staying to watch. As soon as the Sleeping with a girl task was brought up I was like don't let it be Rimmel. I like how their feelings for each other seem to be bringing them closer even with all the other stuff going on (hide spoiler)]

I'm finished(view spoiler)[I thought there would be more drama between Rimmel because of the initiation task involving her. I still don't understand why Zach hated Roman so much. Jealousy? All and all I really liked Rimmel and Roman as a couple. I definitely want to continue on with the series. (hide spoiler)]
