Jeydon woke up groggily for the next day of school. He was tired, and definitely looked it too. He sighed as he slowly pulled on some black jean, and a grey sweatshirt. He did not bother to comb his hair. The car finally become warm, after he pulled into the school parking lot. He grabbed his bag, and headed to the cafeteria to eat breakfast to wake him up. He just ordered a egg sausage sandwich, a fruit cup, and some OJ. He decided to eat it alone at the table today before going to the class room. Everyone was glaring at him. He heard several people whispering behind his back, and felt several pairs of eyes looking at him. He chose to ignore it as he pulled his hoodie up to hind his hair and face as he ate.

Vee woke up the hext day not wanting to go. Yesterday was already a bad day, and today would probably be worse. But she couldn't skip again, her parents wouldn't even let her. She just got up and quickly showered, getting dressed in skinny jeans and a blue blouse with her hair down. She walked to school and headed to her locker. She didn't hear anyone's thoughts which was a good start. As she stood at her locker, she seemed to notice that people were telling each other something in a low voice. But they weren't pointing or looking at her like yesterday. She closed her locker and headed to her class. I wonder if Jeydon is here? She thought to herself as took a seat. So far he wasn't in class. She started to sketch on a blank paper and just thought to herself, probing her head on her hand.

Jeydon finished all the food he bought before heading to class. He never knew how cruel people could be. He never experienced this many people hating him before. He was all alone, all the people he thought were his friends, had suddenly stopped talking to him. Jeydon grabbed his books out of his locker, as he kept his hood up, and head lowered to the ground. As he walked into the classroom, he did not look up. He just quickly went to one of the seats in the back and sat down as he continued to look at the ground. The teacher soon came in, and told him to take his hood off automatically. He hated how teachers always noticed that right away. He obediently took it off revealing his very tired face, messed up hair, and his cheekbones were more prominent since he lost weight.

Vee didn't notice Jeydon come in. Not until the teacher spoke to him. She looked up to him, watching him take off his hoodie. She noticed a difference in him. He looked tired and not energized like he used to. It seemed like he didn't bother to brush his hair to. Plus he lost weight and it made him look sick. She didn't like how he looked and wondered what caused him to change like that. It couldn't have been what happened, because was to cool for her and wanted to complete his dare. So it had to be another reason. Maybe he was sick. It just had to be that. She looked away since she knew she was staring for too long and looked back to her paper, noticing she had drew hearts for some reason.

Jeydon glanced over, and the person his eyes on was Vee. He half smiled as he felt a rush of warmth flood to his cheeks. He turned away quickly as the teacher passed back an assignment to work on for the rest of the class period. He scribbled in the answers he knew, and blankly looked through the rest of the book. His stomach growled. He already knew he was going to have to eat a lot of food to get back to the weight that he was at. Jeydon was finally done with the homework. He glanced over at vee, when more people pointed and whispered. They said something about Wow, Jeydon is really looking at her, and blushing. I can't believe it is true that he likes her. There both losers. He looks super ugly and sick today anyway. I can't believe I lost money because his ugly ass All of these words come from several of his fellow classmates in the room.

Vee had crumbled up the paper and stuffed it in her bag before starting her work. She didn't bother to look at Jeydon, trying not to remeber his smile, the one that once made her feel like she was worth something. She just worked on her assignment for the rest of the period. But it was hard to focus when people were whispering next to her, and what surprised her was when she heard them speak of how they could see he really likes her. Did he tell them he likes me? Maybe that's what happened Friday. So does this mean it's real? That he likes me? No, that's impossible.... wait how did they lose their money? Does this mean people knew about the dare? Vee had so much questions. But she didn't know the answer to them. She looked up to see people looking at her and Jeydon and it just made her nervous. She raised her hand and asked the teacher after he looked at her, "Can I be excused to the bathroom?" She asked. With a nod from the teacher Vee quickly got up and left the class, not even knowing where the bathroom is.

Jeydon glanced up at Vee as she left the classroom. He knew she was probably receiving as much attention as he was getting. He felt terrible not wanting her to feel uncomfortable. He watched the clock as he waited for her to return, but the bell soon rang releasing them for their next class before lunch. He passed Josh in the hall who just laughed, and pointed at him with a group of other guys. "Just wait Jeydon, just wait until lunch." Josh hooted out at him as they passed him. The rest of the guys chuckling along with him. He hoped that Vee was okay. Jeydon stopped by his locker on the way to his next class. He dropped off his old books, and grabbed the new ones. He also grabbed a bag of chips on the way. He sat in the back as usual. He waited for the teacher, and for Vee to show up.

The bell rang and Vee was still out. She knew she'll probably get in trouble the next time she sees the teacher. But for now she couldn't care. She just stayed in the bathroom, after taking ten minutes to find it, until the late bell rang for the next period. She was sitting in the stall wiping her tears when she heard to girls walk in, talking to each other, one being Robin. "Ugh did you hear! Some girl told me she caught Jeydon staring at that freak and blushed. I can't believe he really likes her. I mean I'm so much pretty!" Robin said with annoyance in her voice as she fixed her hair. "So many people were angry at Josh for betting on Jeydon. So he's getting him back," the other girl said. "I don't care. All I know is Jeydon is a a loner like that girl," Robin said and they both left laughing. Vee was shocked. This proved that everyone knew about the dare, and that their may be a chance that Jeydon actually likes her and that he told the school. Vee quickly got out of the stall and wiped the tears before heading to her class. She stepped into the class and received a displeasing look from the teacher before sitting in the seat behind Jeydon.

Jeydon glanced up ten minutes after class started to see Vee enter the class room. She took an awfully long time in the bathroom. He hoped she was okay. He heard Robin and her friends giggle when Vee sat down behind him. It was the closest they had been since Friday. He wanted to be that close with her again, but he doubted she would ever let him lay a finger on her body again. He sighed as the teacher passed out homework. He hated how every teacher seemed to be assigning them homework today. They didn't teach just assigned reading and a whole question packet on the reading. He sighed as he started flipping through the pages searching for the answers. He didn't even bother to read it first. He honestly wanted to go home, but he couldn't. He grabbed his bags of chips quietly and started to munch on them to help him stay content. They were not going to make him happy, only Vee could do that by saying she liked him. Food used to make me happy. Now it doesn't. I need her to forgive me, then I will be happy. She is not even talking to me though Jeydon thought this as he still continued eating anyways. He was mindlessly eating as he finished up the assignment. This hour seemed to drag on. He just wanted to go to lunch, and order a lot so he could pig out. He wanted to eat his feelings of sadness and pain away. His fingers tapped his desk anxiously as he waited for the bell to ring.

Finally the bell ran and everyone started to head out. Vee grabbed her stuff and quickly made her way out of the class. She ignored everyone and tried to forget about Jeydon. All she needed to do was go to lunch where she would sit at her table. She dropped her stuff at her locker and headed to the cafeteria. She forgot to grab her money so she wouldn't be eating today. She just planed to sketch in her book. Hopefully that would distract her from all the questions in her head. She went to her table, the one she sat at on her first day of school since he was the only empty one. She just started to sketch in her book, ignoring the tables near by that were clearly looking at her.

Jeydon first dropped off his books before heading over to the cafeteria. He got in line waiting to buy his lunch. He hadn't eat much lately so he was hungrier than usual. He grimaced at he saw Josh enter the cafeteria and sit down at there usual spot. He didn't know where he was going to sit today, but he knew for sure that he was not welcome at his old friends table. His thoughts were distracted as the lady asked him what he wanted for lunch that. He glanced down seeing that they had pizza and french fries. This is was one of favorite meals that they served. "Um I will take five slices and double order of fries. I will also take a water to drink." He said as the lady rolled her eyes and muttered something about boys these days. At the end he paid for his meal and turned to the rather large cafeteria. It never had seemed so big before in his life. There was Vee, and he desperately wanted to sit by her, but he knew he couldn't. She wouldn't want him to. Vee would probably just get up and leave to another spot if he sat there. He headed over to another rare empty end of a lunch table. Jeydon pulled up his hoodie as he sat down. The people at the other end all instantly looking at him, and gossiping right away. He could hear them, but they didn't seem to care or know they were being overheard.

Vee hated the cafeteria. It was the worst place to be to her. Maybe to others they adored this period because their was no teachers to pass out assingments or tell the what to do. Plus it was a place where they could eat, which was what most people liked to do. She didn't like it because it was a room filled with thoughts, a room filled with gossipers. A room filled with so many chances where something wrong could happen and people could be watching. Her stomach growled with hunger and she looked up to the line of students that were getting their lunch. God I always forget my money, she thought miserably. As she stared at the line, she noticed someone just leaving it after paying his lunch. She watched where Jeydon would go to, and was a bit surprised when he didn't sit with his friends at their usual table. Maybe this has to do with what robin said. They must have fought, she thought to herself, watching him walk to an empty table. What ever happened on Friday must have been bad to have this happen. She wonders what Josh would do, now that she heard Robin say it.

Jeydon quietly ate his first slice of pizza, and glanced over at Vee. She was not eating. He wished he go over there, and share his food with her. She must of been starving. He glanced over at Josh, and they made eye contact. He watched as Josh looked at Vee with a smirk on his face. Josh slowly stood up, and the rest of the guys at his table got quiet and watched him. Jeydon watched as he slowly walked over to Vee's table, where she sat alone. "Attention! Attention!" Josh shouted as the cafeteria all got quiet, and looked over at Josh and Vee to see what was going on. He looked at Vee with a smile that looked geuine, "Vee you are so gorgeous, and I finally see what my friend Jeydon saw in you. Will you go out with me?" He said loudly to her, and so that everyone else in the room could hear. They all stared quietly waiting to see what would happen. Josh glanced over in Jeydon's direction sending him a glare.

Vee looked up from her sketch book when she heard Josh's voice, which was loud enough for the cafeteria to hear. Everyone soon became quite and they were looking at her and Josh. She grew nervous, never having this much attention on her. Vee looked up to Josh, for some reason his smile warming her. She didn't know anything about this guy. But to make such an announcement had to mean he probably liked her. She looked down shyly when he called her gorgeous. So Jeydon told him he liked her. For the first time she didn't know what to do. She's never had such thing happen to her. For some reason she felt that she should say yes, because she wanted to hurt Jeydon like her hurt. Going out with his friend would probably make him made, and he deserved that after what he did. Plus Josh seemed like a cute guy, and she couldn't just say no to him infront of the whole cafeteria. So looking back up, not catching the look he gave Jeydon, and said, "yes, I'll go out with you."

When Jeydon heard Vee say yes, he almost could not believe it. He quickly stood up not wanting to hear anymore, and left the cafeteria leaving his food behind. Josh watched as Jeydon walked out, and chuckled. "Looks like your lover was a little angry with your answer Vee." He said with a chuckle, and some other people laughed with him. "Anyway, why would I want to date a loser like you?? Your just a pathetic loner." As he said this the rest of the cafeteria burst into laughter. Some of them started calling her a loser to think she could date Josh, and other just stared and laughed.

Vee watched Jeydon get up and leave. She could see the anger in his face and for the first part she felt satisfied by hurting him, but deep down she felt a little guilty. Except she pushed that feeling away and just focused on Josh. Her smile faded away when he spoke again. Tears started to fill her eyes as everyone started to laugh at her. She felt stupid to believe him. He did say he was Jeydon's friend so be probably wanted to hurt her like Jeydon did. She quickly got up, gathering her sketch book and rushed out of the cafeteria. She tried her best to stay quite as she tried to find some place to be alone. She found an empty class and opened the door, entering into the dark room.

Jeydon left the cafeteria, and entered the first empty classroom he could find. He just wanted to be alone. The girl he liked was going to date Josh. That was probably what Josh was talking in the hallway. Dating Vee was his revenge. He sighed as he sat in a dark corner of the room. A couple tears slipped down his cheek. He made a mistake, and now he had to pay for it. He lifted his head when he heard the whole lunch room laughing. It was loud enough to be heard in the class rooms. The door creaked open, and someone stumbled in. It was so dark he couldn't tell who it was. He did not know if he should say something or not. He stood up with his hood still on, the darkness covering his face like a veil. He heard someone quietly crying. He frowned as he moved closer trying not to startle the person. "Are you okay?" He asked softly. He wiped the tears from his eyes, but you could still see the streaks down his face, and his nose was red from him rubbing it. "Do you need some tissue?" He asked with sympathy as he looked around the room, but it was to dark to see anything. "I know how your feeling right now. I feel that way to" He said with a slight sniffle, but cleared his throat afterwards.

Vee wrapped her her arms around her wasit. She was still able to hear the laughter echoing from the cafeteria. She felt a bit comforted now that she was alone in the dark room. Except just as she thought she was alone she heard movement. She looked up, trying to see where it was coming from. She heard a voice, Jeydons voice. He sounded sad as he tried to comfort her. He must not know its her. But she could see him in the darkness. She stepped back towards the light see switched. How could be say he feels the same way, he feel nothing close to how she feels. She touched the wall, looking for the light switch before finding them and turing the on. The whole room soon was filled with light, enough that it made her eyes hurt since she had been crying. Before her stood Jeydon. His hoodie on to hide his face. But she could still see the trace of tears. Was he crying? She quickly whipped her tears and said, "no... I'm not okay, and its all your fault." She could still hear the laughter. She clutched the sketch book to her chest, the one book that held her true feelings.

Jeydon eyes slowly adjusted to the bright light, as he looked over to find Vee standing there. "How is it my fault? I am not the one who made you say yes to that jerk." Jeydon said quietly, but harshly. He hated what Josh did, but he did not want to take the blame for something that was not his fault. He knew he should of never considered doing the dare, but he did think he did the right thing by standing up to Josh. He walked over to her, and stood in front of her. "Vee is there anything that I can do for you?" He said with sympathy as he brushed her hair out of her beautiful eyes. He took his own hoodie down to see her better.

Vee spoke back with the same tone, but hers a bit weaker. "I wanted to make you hurt. I said yes to him to hurt you like you hurt me when you almost used me!" she told him. She could feel the threat of tears again. "If you hadn't spoken to me on my first day of school and ignored me like everyone else does none of this would have happened," she told him and her voice cracked. She looked away from him as he stepped closer to her, trapping her between the wall and himself. She looked back up to him when he brushed her hair, hating that she was letting him do this. "Nothing... I want nothing from you but to leave me alone," she told him. But the question she had before all came to her, and she had to know the answers. "Who knew about the dare?" she asked him. She didn't think about that the question made it seem like she didn't find out about it from someone in school. But she wanted to know. She wanted to know everything. "Why did Josh embarrasse me in front of the whole school? What did I do to him?" By now Vee was crying.

Jeydon sighed as he looked at her. He did not listen to Vee about staying away from her. He just pulled her into his chest as he wrapped his arms around holding her tightly. He held her comforting her. "Vee everyone knows. Josh told everyone." He said as he rested his head gently on the top of her head. He was waiting for her to pull back away from him, and yell at him to not touch her every again, but she didn't. "I told him I was not going to the dare. Josh got mad because he bet money on me, and a lot of other people did too." He said as he bit his lip. "I was conflicted over it, but when it came to that moment, I actually really wanted to. Because Vee I really do like you. I told Josh that to, so to get back at me for loosing his money, he did that at lunch today." He said softly as he stroked her back. "I'm so sorry about all of this, and after this if you want nothing to do with me I understand, but I really do like you a lot. I do mean it." He said practically almost whispering. He was still waiting for Vee to pull away, and she probably would any minute, but it would be worth it to hold her one last time, even though it may have only been seconds. Vee please believe me. I really do like you and I didn't mean for any of this to happen. Jeydon thought sadly as he ran his hand up and down her back lightly. "Can you please tell me who told you about the dare. You acted like you didn't know who knew about it." He said in a confused tone. It did not really matter how she found it, but he was kind of glad she did because he did not want to have to keep secrets from her. If she ever did forgive him, he wanted to start off the relationship with complete honesty, and nothing but that.

Vee flinched as he grabbed her and pulled her to his chest. Her first thought was to pull away because she hated him and didn't trust him, but as soon he had his arms around her small body and was soothing her, she stayed still. She had been so alone the past few days, and having someone hold her close and make her feel like she wasn't a freak felt so good. She didn't pull away, which shocked her. Instead she rested her head on his shoulder with her hands on his chest, just letting the tears spill. She knew she was going against her rules, that she was letting down her walls and allowing him back in when she wasn't supposed to. She was having a higher risk to having him find out about her secret. But she just didn't pull away, and just held him tightly. She listened to him when he told her the whole school knew. It explained why people were different towards her than before. This explains everything now. What happened on Friday, what Robin was talking about, and everything else. She felt important when he told her he liked her and that was the reason he wanted to sleep with her, no because of the dare. She felt a little better, safer with him. But when he asked her how she found out everything came back to her. She pulled back from him, wiping at her face. She tried to think of what to tell him, because he couldn't know the truth. "I-I don't want to talk about it," she finally said.

Jeydon nodded, "It's not important anyways." He said with a slight smile. He sighed not wanting to talk about this anymore, "Do you want me to go to the cafeteria, and get you something to eat?" He looked at her and shook his head, "No I'm gonna go get you something because you need to eat. I'll be back." He said as he exited the room quietly. He quickly walked up to the lunch line. Vee liked the fruit last time, so he decided to buy her that and a water. Soon he felt a tap on his shoulder, and when he turned around it was Josh. He laughed straight in his face, "So did you go make out with that hoe or what?" He said as most of the rest of the room turned to face them. Jeydon clenched his jaw as he tried not to get angry. "Awwww is someone mad I asked out there girl and she said yes? I can't help it Jeydon, all the chicks dig me." Jeydon chuckled, "I don't see why your an asshole." He said as he turned punching Josh square in the eye. Josh fell back a little, "Oh you shouldn't have done that." He said as he motioned for the rest of the guys at his table to come up. They grinned like evil cats as they approached Jeydon with their fists clenched in their hands. Josh pushed Jeydon to the ground and punched him twice before the others came up. Jeydon got a few good punches in before one of the guys grabbed his hands behind his back. They punched him several times and kicked him in the ribs, back, stomach, and anywhere they really could. Jeydon winced with each hit. The whole lunch room watched in silence as they beat Jeydon up. He didn't cry out once, so no teacher could even hear what was going on. The guys slapped him to the ground again and kicked him several times once more before leaving as the bell rang. He groaned, his body felt like it had been broken into pieces. Jeydon grabbed the counter for support, and grabbed Vee's fruit tray. A drop of blood splattered on the plastic container encasing the fruit. He instinctively touched his nose to find that it was bleeding. Jeydon pulled his hood back on as he limped back to the classroom Vee was in. He was lucky no one had glass in there this hour. "I got you fruit." He said covering his face not wanting her to see what happened. There was no way of really hiding the shoe scuffs all over his clothes, blood on his hands from his nose, and the newly forming bruises on his face. There were bruises all over his body especially on his ribs.

Vee was glad he didn't press her to speak. She didn't know how she would get him to not ask her who told her. "No, I dont-" she started off but he cut her off. Before she could stop him he was already gone. She sat down in one of the empty chairs and set her sketch book down, left alone to think to herself. She wiped away any sign of tears and waited. What was she doing waiting? She knew she had a chance to leave now before he could come back, because the longer she stayed with him the more she would be leading him on, and she didn't want that because she needed to stay away from him. But she just couldn't move. She couldn't convince herself that she was risking herself and her secret this way. So she just waited. After a few minutes she looked up to the clock and noticed that it was taking Jeydon longer than it should for him to get her something. Just as she as she stood up to check the hallway, the door opened and bruised looking Jeydon came up. Vee quickly rushed to his side, holding him up for support. "What happened? Who did this to you?" She asked him worriedly, forgetting everything that had happened. She helped him over to a chair so his could sit, and when he did she took off his hoodie to get a better look.

Jeydon shook his head, "Nothing, I am fine." He said as he winced when she touched him. He looked away not wanting her to see how badly he was hurt. It made him look weak, and not as strong as Josh. He felt pathetic even though he got a couple punches in on Josh and his gang. He wanted her to see him as a man, not as a little boy who could not protect himself or the girl he loved. He sighed, "I am sorry Vee that you have to see me like this." He said quietly as he turned away from her. He used the egde of his jacket to try to stop the bleeding from his nose. He wiped his lip as well, it felt busted too.

Vee got up and grabbed a couple of tissues. She came back to him and stood before him even though he turned from her. "Don't move," she told him and gave him some to hold at his nose until the blood stopped. She then dabbed at his lips gently so she wouldn't hurt him. She knew he shouldn't have gotten her food, but he just didn't listen. "Stop fairing about me," she told him. That's all he's been doing, and now look at him. He cared about he not eating, then about what Josh said about her, and now he cared about how disgusting looked in front of her. "Please... Just stop... You cant do this to yourself," she said as she looked into his eyes, cleaning up his face.

Jeydon disagreed, "I can if its for someone I love." He said quietly as he took the tissues from her hand and held them to his nose. "You are very sweet to worry about me Vee, but I will be okay. It is only a couple of bumps and bruises, nothing that I can't survive." He sighed as he dabbed at his nose softly and wiped his lip a little bit too. Jeydon looked at Vee and smiled softly to himself. "You are so beautiful you now that, and you deserve better than any guy in this school, including me, you deserve way better than me. Vee you are so special, you don't even know. I can not pin point why, but I can tell you are special just by looking at you, it radiates around you." He said with a slight smile followed by a wince. He chuckled as he set the tissues down after it seemed like his nose finally finished bleeding. His lip still felt a bit puffy but it seemed much better now.

Love.... He thinks he loves me, Vee thought to herself. She slowed down as he spoke, soon coming to a stop. As much as she wanted to be mad at him and hate him, he seemed to find a way to make her like him even more. It was his words, his smile, and the pure look of love in his eyes. She wanted to ignore it, she knew she should. Especially when he said she was special. To her it wasn't being special. Heading peoples thoughts was nothing close to that. It was a curse. She pulled her hand away from his face, standing back straight. "I cant do this... I'm sorry Jeydon but i cant be with you," she told him and took a step back. It dawns her, for the second time, that what she's doing is wrong. "Your not supposed to know me... Or talk to me... And especially like me," she said shaking her head. "Trust me, but you should forgot about me. I'm not special. I'm nothing close to it. " she looked down to herself ashamed.

Jeydon winced as he stood up, and placed his hands on her shoulders. "But you are special Vee and I know it. Your probably the most special girl I ever met, and will ever know." He said as he brushed her hair back behind her ear. "It is to late now, because I do like you. It's not even that anymore." He paused as he bit his bottom lip gently. "I love you, Vee." He said as he looked at her, his brown eyes filled with compassion and love. "I don't want you to leave me alone, I want you to be with me, by my side for as long as we live." Jeydon said as he lifted her chin looking into her eyes lovingly. "It's only you Vee, you are the only one I want." He said his voice filled with sincerity. "You just do not realize how special you are, or how incredibly drop dead gorgeous you are." He said with passion. "You are the nicest, sweetest, and most beautiful girl that I have ever met in my entire life. You just need to believe me, and until you do I will tell you everyday. I will never get tired of saying it either." Jeydon paused slightly before continuing, "If you want me to leave you alone, tell me you hate me and never want to see me again. Then I will leave you alone." He said a look of pain flashing over his face briefly at the thought of her actually doing that. "I hope that is not what you want, and you want to be with me as badly as I want to call you mine." He said as he held her face gently in his hands. Jeydon then pressed his lips gently against hers, as he kissed her softly and sweetly.

Vee felt a shiver run down her spin at his touch. She watched him to see what he would do next, listened to what he would say next. He was saying so many beautiful things. So many things that made her forgot what Josh had said earlier. Maybe he was right? She was special. Why cant she be? Why did she have to think she wasn't worth it. Because even if she was special, it wasn't in a good way. It was in a bad way, a freak. That's what it turned her to, and when he finds out he wouldn't be saying what he's saying now. But before she could stop him, he was leaning in and his lips met hers. At first she hesitates to kiss him back, but she couldn't help herself. She just placed her hands on his chest, moving closer to kiss him. But she couldn't do this. As much as she liked him and wanted to be with him, she had to hurt him and herself. She knew if would bring pain to both of them. She kissed him with passion and sweetness that when she pulled backed she felt high from his love. She looked up onto his eyes, hears wet because she felt like crying, and whispered, " i hate you and i never want to see you again."

Jeydon stumbled back not sure if he heard what Vee said correctly. A flash of pain crossed his face as he looked at her. He sighed as he looked at Vee truly hurt, the torment was in his eyes as he watched her. "Fine, I am going to leave then." He sighed. "Goodbye." He said as he placed a single kiss on the side of her cheek. Jeydon stumbled away. He was definitely not going to school the rest of the day. Maybe never again. All he wanted to do was go home, and take a hot shower. Most of all he wanted to curl up into a ball and die. He never thought she would say those words, but she did. She hated him, even if her kiss seemed filled with love, it was not. She probably pitied him. To her he was just some guy with a crush on her. It probably happened all the time. This probably was not the first time she broke someone's heart. Jeydon limped out to car and when he sat down he slammed his fists against the car steering wheel. "Why! Why! Why!" He cried out angrily as tears streamed down the side of his face. "I love her so much." He said as he hit his head against the wheel, making the horn go off. He sobbed quietly, but soon be backed out of the school driveway, and headed home. Jeydon needed a shower, he was was physically broken and emotionally torn to pieces. This day probably could not get any worse. He sped along the road angrily. Jeydon was not paying attention as he angrily and heartbroke sped through the streets. As the traffic signal turned red he sped through while another car speeding through going to fast to stop, slammed into Jeydon's brand new car in a head on collision. Jeydon felt something warm trickle down his face. His head felt dizzy, and the last thing he heard was ambulance sirens before blacking out completely.

((Maybe while he can go into a coma and while he is in the hospital Vee visits him, and can like connect in his mind with her power and talk to him and tell him what she can do?))

Vee hated the look in his face. She caused him to hurt, and she didn't like to hurt anyone. But it was only fair, right. He had hurt her, and plus she was doing this to protect herself. To protect her secret too. She just watched him leave, not bothering to speak to him or even say good bye. It had been that easy to get him out of her life, but it had been very painful. Vee fell to her knees when she heard the door close behind him and cried to herself. She really hated her life, and it was all because of this stupid power she had and would never understand.

((Oh!! Yes that's a brilliant idea. But how would she find out he's in the hospital?))

((People at school could find out he was in a car accident and she heard about it at school. Cuz sometimes schools will send like a banner with all the kids signing or something to the hospital ))

Jeydon lay in the hospital bed. His eyes shut. They had not opened for two days now, since the car crash. His mom stood over the bed. She grew more and more worried every day. Even though the doctor kept assuring her this was normal, and everything seemed to be fine in Jeydon's body, she still continued to worry. This was her son. It made her feel like she should be home more to spend time with him. Earlier that morning, the school Jeydon attended sent over a banner with a bunch of students signatures scrawled across it. No one came to visit except his mother so far, the principle, and a few of his teachers. His mom hated how some of the teachers treated her as if Jeydon was already dead, and gone. She sat at the edge of the bed, when the doctor came in once more. "Your son will be fine, you should go home get some rest, maybe even go to work to get your mind off things." He said gently as he stood by the door way. His mother shook her head stubbornly, like a child, "No with all due respect, I need to be here for my son," She said quietly as she squeezed Jeydon's hand lightly. The doctor nodded defeated, and told her to have a good day before walking away. She did need a drink however, so for some time she left and went across the street to pick up a soda and a couple snacks at the gas station.

Vee had heard the news about Jeydon this morning at school, and ever since then she wasn't able to focus. This was all her fault. She hurt him so bad that he had almost killed himself. She had to visit him. After school she had told her father to take her to the hospital to visit a friend, and he agreed because hearing her say she had a friend showed improvement in her life and he didn't want to ruin it. So he dropped her off and she made her way to hai room after getting help on where it was. At first they weren't going to let her in, not until she begged them and told them she was his girlfriend. Luckily when she reached his room no one was their but him. She could barely walk in after the door shut at the site of him like that. After a few seconds, she moved closer to him step by step. She stood next to bed and looked over him. She glanced at his hand and interlaced his with hers. "Im so sorry..." She said and her voice broke. She could barely speak without crying. God how could i do this. I broke his heart and put him in the hospital. I'm such a horrible person. He'll probably hate me and stay away from me. I don't blame him. I'm weird... A freak.

Jeydon felt a presence in his room that was not his mothers. He could sense the person through out his body, but did not know who it was. He wished with all his might that he could open his eyes, and see for himself, but his body was just not allowing it. He did not know how long he was going to have to stay like this. He heard the some people stay like this until they die. Jeydon really did not want that to be him. He felt the person hold his hard, and he smiled inside. He felt somehow connected to this person.

Vee moved to push his hair out of his face with her other hand. Please be okay Jeydon... Dont leave me, she thought to herself. Tears started to fall at the idea of loosing him. He was the only thing she had close to a friend, and probably more than that. Her hand moved down to his cheek, holding it. I probably should have told you about me... Before its too late, she spoke to him in her mind because if she spoke she would only break down into more tears and be a bigger mess.

Jeydon felt the familiar touch of someone. Then he thoughts booming inside his head, they seemed to be from someone very special to him. Vee? He thought suddenly. It had to be her. How was this even happening? Did he gain some special power from the car crash, but if he did why was he not able to do this with his mother when she held his hand. Would he have this power when he woke up. He heard read about people getting in accidents before and gaining new powers. He just never heard of it happening in this life on earth.

Vee had her head bent down, looking at him as she held his cheek. Then all of a sudden she heard her name in her head, but Jeydon's voice instead of hers. She froze, confused at what she heard. She looked at him, finding him the same as she did when she entered, looking asleep. He couldn't have spoke it, she looked around to make sure it wasn't no one else before looking at him. I'm just hearing things, she tells herself. It must have been the wanting to talk to him that she imagined his voice, that was the only explanation to hearing her name, from wanting him badly. It had to be, right?

Jeydon still felt the prescense. After thoughts went through his head with a voice that sounded like Vee, he was very confused. He did not know what was going on. Jeydon did not know if it was a dream or reality. Vee is that really you? He thought with all the strength he could muster. He did not understand why he could speak with Vee, and not his mother. It probably was a dream because Vee hated him, and never wanted to see him again. She did not have a reason to come to the hospital. He started to wonder where his mom disappeared too, and maybe it was not Vee. Maybe it was his mother the whole time, and he was just imaging things.

Again, Jeydons voice boomed in her head. She couldn't be imagining it. She was sure of it. Maybe it has to do with power... she told her self and realized what was going on. Well a little. Jeydon! Jeydon, I'm so sorry. Its me Vee. Please tell me your okay? she spoke to him in her mind. She smiled as she cried, moving her hand to hold his with both of them and giving him a squeeze. Just like she could hear peoples thoughts, she could speak to them with her thoughts when their in a coma. At less that's what she thinks.

Jeydon could not help but feel excited. Even if he was stuck here forever, he could still talk to Vee. He knew that she probably would not come forever. He would want her to move on with her life, and find someone new she can start a family with. He smiled inside as he heard Vee's voice again. After what she said, she seemed to still care about him. Well I guess I am okay for a person in a coma. I just can not believe I can feel your presence and hear you. I think I got some sort of power during the crash. He thought wondering what Vee would think of that. She would probably think he was crazy, and that the coma gave him damage to the brain. I know it sounds crazy, but how else is this possible. I think this is some special gift. Jeydon thought again. His mother was still gone. He did not know what she went to do. He hoped she would be back soon to meet Vee, and maybe he could communicate now with her too. He hoped he could because he missed his mom, and hated how she was feeling guilty, and not taking care of herself because she was so worried about him. She may work all the time but she was a great mom to Jeydon and loved him more than herself. He loved feeling Vee hold his hand in a way he never felt before. He began to think since maybe since he was not using one of his five sense, the other were becoming more powerful. He could not see but he could definitely feel and hear more powerfully, inside his head. He wondered if this happened to any one else, maybe it was just true love that let them communicate.

Vee listened to his reason to what was going on. It seemed reasonable. But she knew it wasn't his doing. It was hers and fully hers. But maybe, just maybe, she could agree and use his as the answer to all of this. Because that meant less explaining and a way lesser chance of her freaking him out after telling him what she can do. Maybe that is the reason. It can be the only explanation to how we could here each other, she lied to him and felt very guilty. She knew it wasn't right for her to do that, but she was just trying to protect herself. That was her main priority when she moved here, but with what happened lately if seemed like she forgot all about it. Listen Jeydon, you have to keep fighting. Okay? You have to wake up and you cant give up. Please tell me you wont give up.... Because you leave me, Vee spoke to him, sounding desperate.

Jeydon listened carefully to Vee. She obviously cared about him because she wanted him to keep fighting. She did not want him to give up, and he would not. Even if she was not here, he would keep fighting for his mom. She did not deserve to lose him. Vee also did not think he was crazy that he was talking about having some new power. She actually thought he did, and believed in him. If I do have power, then why could I not do this with my mom too? I miss talking to her so much. He asked Vee as this thought had been bugging him for quite some time now. Jeydon then continued thinking, I will never leave you Vee. I will be fine. I will always fight for you no matter what, and I will always be honest with you from now, because look where that got us before. I love you Vee . I really mean it to. I think you are beautiful, and the most wonderful girl that I have ever known and that will ever know in my entire life. Jeydon felt the presence of someone else enter the room. It was probably his mom. "Who are you?" His mother questioned Vee. "The front desk said his girlfriend was in here, but Jeydon does not have a girlfriend. I did not tell them that because I am not sure if he does or does not/" She said as she looked over at Vee. His mother sat on the opposite side of the bed from Vee. His mother picked up his hand, and stroked it softly. "Obviously you care about my son. You are his visitor besides me. I hope he is okay." His mom expressed to Vee, even though she did not answer her earlier questions yet.

Vee listened to him, not sure how she should explain it to him. She knew why he couldn't talk to his mom like he could talk to her, but she couldn't tell that, and she hated that because he said he wouldn't not tell her anything but the truth. And look at her! Still lying. She wanted to say she loved him too, and just as she was about to she heard the door open. She pulled her hand away from his and took a step back, glancing to see who came in. She though it would have been a nurse, but it was someone else. She looked her over and noticed how much she looked like Jeydon. She must be his mother then. She grew nervous as she exposed her for lying at the desk, still not having to answer Jeydon yet. "Ugh...no," she admits and glances at Jeydon before looking at his mother who was now sitting in the bed. "I'm just a friend... I thought they wouldn't let me in unless i said that," and told her softly, not moving back to hold his hand again. She slightly smiled to herself when his mother noticed she cared for him. But felt bad since they were the only two that visited. "He's okay," she assures him," and he'll come back, i know it."

Jeydon's mom smiled sadly, "I wish I could think that way too sweetie, but the doctors have been saying he hasn't hand any brain activity for the pasts days. They said once there is he would wake up in the next day or two." She said as she looked at Jeydon. He looked like he was just sleeping peacefully, and anyone who looked in the room would think that same. Except this sleep was taking more time to wake up from. Jeydon left Vee's hand leave his his own. His mother picking up on the other side. Mom it's me Jeydon, can you hear me? he thought this several times. His mother looked up at Vee suddenly, "Did you hear that? It sounded like Jeydon. I swear I just heard him." She said as she shook her head and glanced back down at her son. He was still asleep. She swore that she hears the voice of her child. She wondered if Vee heard it too. Maybe she was just imaging what she wanted to hear instead of what really happened.
