Sam Friedman (sam_ramirez) | 83 comments I'm not officially participating, since I think every month for me is NaNoWriMo. Having said that, for those of you trying to write 50,000 words this month, how far along are you?

Ceanmohrlass Ceanmohrlass | 69 comments Hi Sam, I actually just completed the challenge, but only due to two all night marathon writing sessions with online companion cheerleaders doing the same! It's my first year to do the challenge and I will definitely do this again. Frustrating, challenging but more than anything, a lot of fun!

Did you create an entirely new work, or did you work on an existing project?

P.D. Workman (pdworkman) I'm up over 90,000 words right now.

I was going to participate this year, then my imaginary friends abandoned me, and my wife bought me Fallout 4....so not well!

90,000! In 19 days? Holy Guacamole, that is a lot.

Riley: LOL

P.D. Workman (pdworkman) Well, 16 days, actually, since I don't write on Sundays and I haven't written yet today (because I have three books I need to hit 'publish' on this week and have been working on final formats...)

I created a new project. I had an idea in mind, created a cover to get the feel of the story I wanted, and tried to make a sort of outline, but that fell apart immediately upon starting to type Nov 1! I just evolved on it's own throughout the right and I'm surprisingly happy with how it turned out!
