Christie Powell | 35 comments I have been working on the website for my new book series, and I was wondering if anyone could look it over and give some advice. I had some fun ideas but I don't know if they work or not. It's www.thespectrabooks.com
Thank you!

Looked at it. I think you need a clearer, more stand-out picture than the one you have front and center. It detracts. Try a more sharply detailed 96 dpi or PNG image. Otherwise the layout is okay.

Christie Powell | 35 comments Thank you. That picture is one of my first attempts working with the GIMP software. I'll try to find something done more professionally.

Carolyn Hamilton (carolyn_v_hamilton) | 10 comments I looked at your website and was confused by the title. At first I thought Spectra Books was a publishing company. You might want to consider something more related to what you are writing, such as "Enter the World of Spectra" or something like that. Otherwise it looks like you have made a great beginning.

Christie Powell | 35 comments Thanks. What do you think of putting my author name up with the title?

Cynthia Vespia (cynv) | 27 comments Website looks good. Clean, easy to navigate. For the title you could put The Spectra Book Series but it's not that necessary.
