These are the kinds of things I know about and might be able to answer, but I'm equally happy to answer random questions.

Being a writer - my writing routine, how I got published, where my characters come from, the best bits about being a writer etc.

My books - anything about anything you've read or want to read.

The publishing business, networking, being addicted to Facebook and self-promotion.

Blogging - any of my blogs - < a href="http://www.plantingwords.com">... Words, a handful of stones, 100 Readers (I know, I've got too many...)

Zen - a special interest!

Slowing down, living the life you want to live, finding the work that makes you happy.

What I like to read.

How to deal with rejection, how to get big projects finished.

Don't be shy!

Caroline (carolinedavies) Go on then Fiona - what are the best bits about being a writer?

There's a very helpful article by Alex Keegan on Dealing with rejection. Could post a link if you'd like?

Connie | 1 comments Do you have any authors that inspire you to write? Also, does any kind of music help you out as well?

Caroline - that link sounds very interesting - feel free to add it to this topic or start a new one!

I've copied your questions into new topics, thanks to you both.

Katia | 4 comments Fiona, how old were you when you first knew that you would become a writer? Did you win prizes for your writing at school from an early age and were you a child who loved to read more than anything else? Do you have writers in your family and were you given encouragement or were you advised to get a "proper job" lol!!?
