December's Randomizer Toppler

If you are choosing the second book for someone, please wait and let the person fill their task first.

Oh CFDeeDee, haven't we provided enough recommendations for everyone? If not, we're doing something wrong. ☺ I hope you find more books!

I did roll a 4 for my second book, so need someone to choose for me from the other 4 books on my list:
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

It looks like you have to cheese between artistic and eye candy :) That could be a tough one.

I suggest you ignore the 6 and go with 2,4, and 3. If you think you'll read more than 3 books you can generate a 4th number.

I'm in a good mood, so go with the one you've had the longest.

OK. I've just changed my message though. Going back now :).

Generated a 4 as the first number:
Rusalka: Sarah
Sam F: KimeyDiann
Sandra: Anna M and jaxnsmom
KimeyDiann: Tejas Janet
Ariane: Lisa
Colleen: Sam F
jaxnsmom: Debra
Sam: Theresa
Generated a 4 as the second number:
Sarah: Anne (Booklady)
Teanka: Lara
Lori Z: Lisa
Lara: Rusalka
Pickers - please let your person know what book you choose for them.

Lori Z - I have chosen Deadly Donuts for you as your second book. I just love that title! I hope you enjoy it :)

If you are choosing the second book for someone, please wait and let the person fill their task first.

1. Task 1 - Shortest book - The Notebook 214 pages, 6hr 3m audio
2. Task 5 - Longest on TBR list - Christ the Lord: The Road to Cana 257 pages 6hr 47m audio
3. Task 1 - Shortest book - Under the Greenwood Tree 218 pages 6hr 16m audio
4. Task 1 - Shortest book - Suspended Sentences: Three Novellas 232 pages 6h 37m audio
5. Task 4 - Someone else chooses- March 280 pages 10h 22m audio (That's the only one left!)
Realistically, I'll get the first two read for the Toppler, since those total 15hr 16m.

I don't find any of my covers to be incredibly interesting, but I like the skipping Christmas one the best. I think it was such a creative idea to have Santa snoozing in a hammock with palm trees, just taking a little vaca. I like that they put snowflakes around it too, indicating winter.

My order will be:
3 - most interesting cover: Skipping Christmas
1 - shortest: The Christmas Train
4 - someone else's pick: ??
1 - shortest:
I will probably only get to the the first one or two, but if someone wants to pick my book #3 just in case, that would be great.
My three remaining books will be:
The Neon Lawyer
A Study in Scarlet
I Am Legend

Hah nice. I appreciate the honesty!

Yay, I'm looking forward to reading it! It's going to be forever and a day before that 3rd book gets published. :(

Thank you, Lara! That is exactly what I wanted to read ASAP:).

So I'm going with

So for the first read I'm going to pick

And if I even make it to the second task, the shortest one on my list is

My list is:
A Disgraceful Affair: Stories
A Merry Christmas: And Other Christmas Stories
The Rats
The Bell Jar
Friday Night In Beast House

Yay, I'm looking forward to reading it! It's going to be forever and a day before that 3rd book gets published. :( "
I know! Bummer!

So I'm going with

I'm excited to start this book, thanks for choosing it!
Which three did you add to your TBR list?

Which three did..."
Three Men in a Boat - which I notice is also a Penguin Classic (could come in handy during 2016 world travels)
Rumpelstiltskin's Daughter
and the one I picked for you to read this toppler Streetlights Like Fireworks

My list is:
A Disgraceful Affair: Stories
[book:A Merry Chri..."
Theresa will be picking your first book.

I doubt i'll get to a second book, but in case I do, I'll be reading Spiced: A Pastry Chef's True Stories of Trials by Fire, After-Hours Exploits, and What Really Goes on in the Kitchen. With a rating of 3.29 stars, it has the lowest rating of my five selections.

4. There’s no way to represent each winter celebration, we each have our own beliefs. Read the book that someone else chooses for you. (I’ll choose the someone) What is one of your favorite holiday traditions?
5. Have you noticed that the Christmas decorations get put up earlier each year? (And isn’t it annoying?) Read the book that’s been on your tbr the longest. What took you so long to get to it?
A reminder of the rules:
