What are you reading?
I'm rereading the Kate Daniels series. I'm also on waiting list for the BOM book (marked) in audio book at the library. so I'll have that soon. I'm also reading some fan fics in the mean time as well.
I know it's not a book but hey I love some series so much I just don't want to leave their world!!!!

I'm doing a re-read of Kate Daniels in Urban Fantasy Aficionados as a group series read. We are up to Magic Slays, which I read in the beginning of the month. I also read Magic Dreams this month, the Dali & Jim first novella which is set around the same time line.
So I've gone back to
, which has really picked up and turned corners after corners. Still the beginning was frustrating to me.
Also having light reading on the side with Dragon erotic Scifi novellas
quick and OK/good read for what they are.

I actually really liked this book. I've been wanting to get the other book(s) but haven't yet.
I put
on my TBR. I just started seeing it this month but woo, it has been around for a while. Nice that the first is a freebee on Kindle. Hoopla has it on Audio at my library though whispersync is only 2.99.
I'm on a historical romance kick and back into Loretta Chase.

Started the 4th Suzanne Wright Phoenix Pack,
. They are a bit predictable but good after that with the characters and romance. They are definitely PNR. Usually a 3 or 4 (more likely 3).
About 1/2 way through
. After about 25% I started getting into it. Until then I just wasn't connecting. Probably because I didn't read the series it was spun off from, Dead Spots. I think I'll try that one next. I love the character Jesse. When he came into the book, it became interesting.

I really loved the house of night series, I finished it last year, they are going to be having another book out for the series.

I am really enjoying The House of Night series - the third book I got a little frustrated with but the rest of them I have really enjoyed! Do you know when they will have the next book out for the series??

, not bad so far."
I read her
series for 3 or 4 books. They were really good at first but started not pulling me back as much. Kind of like Spider Bite. I might try another of her series. Let me know how you like that one.
I just started the BOM
, it seems all over the place in the beginning. I'm sure it starts coming together here somewhere.

I read her

Trance was not bad, I gave it 3 stars. An enjoyable enough read, but I don't know that it pulled me in enough to continue the series. I also saw that the other books in the series are narrated by different characters and I'm not really a fan of that.
Not stellar review for Trance. Since I haven't been able to talk myself back to Dreg City after book 4, I might not try it.
I just finished
and loved it. It is much more PNR than the first which, although had flirting, this was a lot about her attraction and trying not to make a bad decision for her and her family. I loved it, but I like a bit of romance in my UF, like Nighthuntress. This is better than that.
Started reading
and really liking the two characters. This is set in the Imp series world and is the story of Raphael, brother of Gregory. Time wise it is happening before the events of Exodus. I don't know where it ends timeline wise, yet. I really liked
which was Dar's story. I really liked it. Not quite like Sam's books but very good. I haven't liked the Half-breed novels. Amber is just not very fun. Dar and Raphael know how to joke.
I just finished

.Mackenzie I thought the house of night series was finished??? head to the author page and you can see all the books released.

@Adele, the series did end, but the authors are releasing another book in the same world for the 10th anniversary.

@Lindsey I'm sorry I meant to tag you too but the silly app won't allow editing of comments.
so kinda a sequel huh. well it might be worth looking at.
I loved the series when I first read it. ... not so much the second time. I really hated the audio book.... she made her sound whining and horribly monotone.
I might wait to read the series again might read it after I read the new one.

This is my first time reading it, I am enjoying them. the first one was really good but the 2nd and 3rd books I have to say were not my favorite.. I almost wasn't able to make it through the 3rd one but I am glad I did, it has gotten a lot better ( I m on the 10th book now

..."
@Mackenzie, I probably wouldn't do a re-read either, I usually reserve those for all-time favorites. I enjoyed House of Night well enough when I read it, but I've also found a lot of new authors since then, a lot of new non-YA fantasy too, so probably I wouldn't like it as much a second time.
I just finished
and liked it as much as some of the Imp books. Going to one of the other Imp Worlds next but first to
. Another favorite series, and a re-read also.

I liked Raine Beneres series too. I started her other series, SPI files, but never liked it quite as much as Raine, other than the novella, "Lucky Charms".
I have Treasure & Treason line up but haven't gotten to it. Got it on sale with Kindle but haven't found a deal on Wedding Bells which comes before it, not even in paperback yet. My libraries don't have it either so... I maybe with read it with a skip.

and really liked it again. This is one of the better UF series out there

I was unhappy with the cliffhanger ploy at the end ofSilver Silence (from above, finished) but since it didn't really have much to do with the main plot line and romance, I still enjoyed it greatly.
I finished
the book after
(again above; I should update more) and I liked Gabriel's story even better than Raphael's. For those that like the Imp series, you will probably enjoy these too.
I finished

I bought the first SPI files book too, but haven't tried it yet. Loving Raine though. Other than that, I'm starting

The Beast was alil more intense for me but i did enjoy it. The marked novel series is actually hard for me to read. Not one id recommend.. But thought might as well read the third one and finish the series. Hidden deep was one I really enjoyed and cant wait to start the next one!

I found it ! It was the second volume from the Vampire Blood series by Juliette Cross. ;-)
