Jody (jodybell) | 3477 comments I'm planning on reading Narnia too next year. I've done a bit of research and most of the die hard fans seem to say to read them in publication order (so Lion first), as it's written very much like an introduction to the world. If you read them in chronological order apparently there's stuff that don't make sense as you need to have read Lion.
