It sure is!

I am not sure if I can download it though, it wasn't on sale last time because I don't live in the states, so I don't know if it will be free tomorrow.
I guess it isn't that long until I can check.

Also, I bought my book through Amazon once and ended up only paying a fraction because I received royalties from the sale (well 60-90 days later).

The internet seems to agree with you, I however can only seem to make it open the preview or save the webpage for the preview. Not get the source file.
I know how my Grandmother feels now trying to work 'The Facebook'.
I think I will see if I can download it tomorrow for free, that's pretty soon anyways.

You can download a mobi free from Amazon Kindle Direct. On your bookshelf, click on "edit details" for your book. On that page, scroll to the bottom to the downloadable previewer, and click on Download Book Preview File to download your book. After it downloads click on "return to bookshelf" at the bottom and you're done.

The Bold bit is the part I can't do. I just don't see anything anywhere on the previewer or details page that allows me to download anything.

The pdf you sent me works but it doesn't keep the page. It scrolls down from first page to last. So every time I will shut my iPad, I will have to scroll back to where I was and that means, I can't stop in the middle of a chapter.
Still the new version is a lot easier to read. That's a plus.

I think I will do that option once I am sure this version is correct. :)

In the one on Amazon I followed the instructions in the converter to mark chapters. So hopefully that makes it less awful.
Word of warning to everyone: Odd formatting your books makes it really hard to publish into an Ebook!

So amazon sells Kindle books not available for their Kindle device?
I'm lost. (I let them know of that 'bug' too in my email.)

I've received a response from Amazon. I'm not quite sure I understand their instructions though.

Yes, that would have been the smart thing to do. If you saw the layout of my book though you would know why that doesn't work! :D (In fact you can if you look at it in goodreads, there is a preview.
It has been such an ordeal getting it through to amazon and making it work. I am just glad when I downloaded it today it finally looks correct.
Apparently not everyone writes books full of boxes, upside down writing, glyphs, different text sizes, spreadsheets, and kitty diaries in them... for some reason.

I had to go though Kindle Direct Publishing with a textbook creator tool to get my book published on Amazon. I can't use the textbook file in a reader, because it is for Kindle Direct Publishing.
Does anyone know if I can download my own book on Amazon or in Kindle Direct Publishing?
Side Note: I don't want to pay for it.
