1. Go to author's page
2. Click to see all quotes
3. Upper right click on combine
4. Check the box by quotes that should be combined
-All likes will be combined
-I believe the quote with less likes will be merged into the one with more likes - at least this has happened every time for me
-Tags from the "lesser liked" quote do not merge so try to manually add these after
-There does not seem to be consensus on whether to merge shorter and longer quotes
(I am a relatively new GR librarian so someone else can feel free to correct or add new information)

They do, but the counts take a while to update. I think that cache is about 24 hours.

They can be merged by a superlibrarian even if they are not Levenshtein similar. (And I believe by any librarian if both have fewer than 5 likes.)

Really? Good to know. I didn't know that information, but I always try to merge, if I cannot I accept.
