Our Tour is currently underway. We are visiting South Sudan in January and February. Because of the difficulty in obtaining the winner of the poll, we have two official selections for this stop: Beyond the River Yei: Life in the Land Where Sleeping Is a Disease and Emma's War.
I need to add background information to the discussion threads, but feel free to begin chatting here for River Yei and here for Emma's War
I just opened a thread to take suggestions for our next stop, up north in the Republic of Sudan. Please leave your recommendations here. I would like to post the poll January 18 through January 25 to give everyone plenty of time to get the selection for our March and April read and discussion.
We are also featuring Kenyan literature this year, but we have not figured out a way to kick off this project. Please visit the threads in this folder and help us get started!
