amelia (whats_amelia_reading) I love Nim's Island!! I never really thought of it as a feminist book, but it is!! Nim is such a strong, young woman, who's survives without her father on the Island. Also, Alex Rider conquers her agoraphobia to help Nim.

Sofia Colette (mushie) Nim, for me as a child, was always someone I wanted to become, independent and strong, able of her own decisions, I always found Nim to be so inspiring.
