Shabnam Curtis | 6 comments Hello reviewer community,

My Persian Paradox: Memories of an Iranian Girl is a memoir that represents many life stories in Iran after the Islamic Revolution when the dictatorship came to power. Please let me know if you are interested in reviewing this book. I have 10 paperback and 25 pdf version providing for free. Please contact me @ [email protected] or Instagram @authorshabnamcurtis

For more information please visit my goodreads page or www.mypersianparadox.com

Thank you so much for your consideration!

Book description

On a cold night in 1978, seven-year-old Shabnam Shahmohammad clung to her mother in a Tehran apartment while the sounds of gunshots rang out in the street: The Iranian Revolution was at hand. She and her family survived that night, but as the Islamic fundamentalists took the power over, she grew up watching her father take his beloved books away to burn, his friends be arrested and disappear, and women like her mother grow ever more marginalized. Confused by her father’s communist ideology, her mother’s conservative religious beliefs, and the regime’s oppressive rules, she developed a deep longing to live a different life.

Finding herself being married at nineteen, she naively dreamed to team up and discover an adventurous life. When she gave birth to a daughter whose future, she realized, mattered more to her than her own, she had to find a way to unlock her little girl’s possibilities. She longed to emigrate, but with Western countries’ embassies mostly absent from Tehran, options for escaping Iran were limited.
My Persian Paradox: Memories of an Iranian Girl is a tale of resilience facing oppression and dictatorship along with fighting with narrow traditional and restrictive cultural rules. This memoir is a journey of self-discovery, mother-daughter relationship obstacles, forbidden love, and the universal desire for freedom.

Anna ShortHead (annashorthead) | 1 comments Hey everyone! I am Anna Voice Editor of
Simply ES6: Mastering JavaScript and ES6 to its fullest

and I am currently looking for some honest reviewer for my book.

This is a great book for you if you are a few months into your web-development training. This book will save you years and years of frustrated lessons.

Here is what the book is about

Simply ES6 is a great book for people who love JavaScript and everything to do with it. This book contains lessons on ES6 for both novice and advanced JavaScript practitioners, Web-developers, React-Native users, and everyone else who uses JavaScript. No matter where you stand, if you read this book you will learn something that will help you improve your JavaScript skills.

The lessons are well structured, each section begins with a brief introduction, followed by tons of examples to follow and play with; and each chapter ends with a practice project explained in extensive detail, followed by a summary of that chapter to really condense the skills learned.
If you love JavaScript then this book is for you! If you want to master JavaScript then this book is for you!

If you would like to read my book in exchange for an honest review then email me at [email protected] for a free copy of Simply ES6: Mastering JavaScript and ES6 to its fullest.

If it's available on Kindle, Amazon lets you send it to people. All you need is their email address and they'll receive a download link for your book. It's not free for you but it's free for them. That's the cheapest way. Sending paperbacks is, of course, more expensive.

Getting reviews is extremely difficult. I've contacted dozens of book review blogs and only a handful have messaged back, let alone accepted. It's a grind, not gonna lie. But keeping active in the community, especially Goodreads, can help you stumble upon reviewers who are asking for books to review.

Hi Cynthia, so one thing I think you should do immediately is nail down the genre for your book. Pick one, maybe add that it has elements of another, but you really must decide the genre so that you can articulate that to potential reviewers. That's something I've learned is off-putting, they want to know what kind of story they're getting into before they even start.

message 108: by Peter (new)

Peter Martuneac | 11 comments Hmm, based on your description, it sounds to me like this is more of a heart-warming tale of people coming together. It sounds like a sense of adventure is what you’re going for, if I’m not mistaken. If I were you, I’d advertise it as Adventure, but mention also the humor and the humanity involved, and discovering human relationships.

I use book funnel. I upload my books and the covers. I can gift a book to whomever then I can see when that person downloads the book. Cheaper for the author and the easist. The reader can choose which format they would like to download. Or you can send each person the format of your choosing through email attachment. No cost to you.

Lives Of E

Hi!
My debut sci-fi novel Lives Of E is free on Amazon Oct. 20-21. Would be very happy if anyone was interested in downloading it, and happier still if you'd be so kind as to leave a review after reading it. If you missed the free promotion dates, send me a message and I'll send you the book somehow.

It can be found here:

Kind regards,
H.P. Burman

Blurb:
It can be hard to accept something as real when you’re convinced it’s not.

Erik had never heard of quantum computers. He had no interest in that sort of thing. When a woman he isn’t interested in tries to seduce him during dinner, his best mate mentions that he is building one. Desperate to escape the awkward situation, Erik insists on seeing the prototype.

That turns out to be a really bad idea.

A series of unfortunate events ends with Erik getting electrocuted. Subsequently, his life starts changing in every conceivable way, starting with him waking up in bed next to the woman he was trying to avoid the night before. Convinced that he went to sleep alone, Erik begins to doubt his ability to trust his own mind. Each new day is worse, presenting him with a completely different life every morning—subtle changes at first, although soon they veer to the extreme. Reality as he knows it becomes warped beyond all recognition.

Has he lost his mind? Is he living with multiple personalities? Or is this a never-ending lucid dream of alternate lives? Erik’s quest to understand what’s happening to him turns out to be nowhere near as difficult as finding a way to make it stop.

S.J. Rowe Hi and Hello!

I just self-published my second book and I'm looking for reviewers for Captivating the Hostess. This is a Paranormal Romance with a dash of heat to make you blush once or twice.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZN772B9/

Please contact me at [email protected] (or reply to this thread with your email) and I’ll send you a free gift (kindle) copy in exchange for an honest review here or on Amazon.

An unwilling hostess...
A disingenuous guest...
And a stolen kiss in the pantry with enough heat to melt the ice caps.

They work together but had never met. He travels the world, protecting the Innocent. She stays hidden and only reads about it.

Trust is not easy for either. He died the last time he trusted a woman. Death is absolute for anyone she trusts.

He's a Prime.
She's a Civilian.

There are rules against them getting close. Against them feeling anything more than platonic friendship for the other.

What starts as a simple stopover turns a corner when he can't heal from an attack. Then they learn their lives connect in more ways than one, and they realized they would rather fight with each other than fight apart.

This book is recommended for those seeking an Alpha that has significant trust issues but is willing to overlook them for his sleeping beauty. Mature Audiences only. Part of a series but can be read as a standalone.

Thank you for considering!

What does the flooding of the Black Sea, Nero’s burning of Rome and the opening of Pandora’s box from Greek myth have in common? ‘Gesh’, The Drunken Weed. I have written a series of three (so far) short light hearted fantasy books about her and her associates. She is an accident prone member of a superior species who was once worshipped as a Mesopotamian goddess. The first book ‘The Drunken Weed’ describes her escape across the multiverse with her brother-in-law, a bored, unhappily married call centre worker after she fails an assignment to kill him. Information can also be found on my blog DenisScottAuthor.com

I am particularly looking for reviewers for the first book at the moment but would be happy for people to consider all three (approx. 150 pages each) and gift copies to individuals through Amazon or by pdf through email.

Hello,

I am seeking reviews for Higher Justice, the first book in the True Justice series of contemporary women's thrillers.

You can download a copy of Higher Justice at Bookfunnel by going to https://BookHip.com/ZVAMPC

Description of Higher Justice is:

One man. One woman. Two shattered lives.
Then terrorists target them for death and things really go downhill fast.

What else can go wrong? Don’t ask …

When Dr. Robert Fogler, a prominent obstetrician, suffers a life-altering injury that forces him to learn how to survive in the world of the homeless as a man named Chauncey, his life spins out of control, bouncing from one hair-raising adventure to the next.

After Dr. Sarah Collins is set adrift when her ideal life is torn from her by violence, she lands on everything but her feet. Then she meets Chauncey and it goes from bad to worse, if that’s even possible.

Drawn together by a fluke of happenstance, they begin forging new lives just as terrorists begin plotting their demise.

Will all their hard work and new dreams be devastated in a fiery blast of heroism?

Higher Justice is the first book in the action/thriller True Justice series. This novel by D. E. Heil has been compared to works by James Patterson, David Baldacci, and Lee Child. Heart-racing action, emotional skirmishes, and a kick-ass heroine move the story forward at breakneck speed.

Omifunke would never have imagined that she, an ordinary priestess, might ever journey into the dreaded Dark Lands or battle demons, but this quest proves to her just how much she knows about her life.

Hello Everyone.

Requesting reviewers to review my fiction novel, "Coronavirus: Race for the Cure."

Synopsis:

Two scientists in a desperate race against time: can they develop a vaccine to combat the coronavirus ravaging the globe?
Wang Jing, a director at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in central China, has designed her whole life to prepare for such a moment. Living in the epicenter of the pandemic, she must focus all her energy to save her ancestral country.
On the other side of the globe, Bryce Paton, director of the Virology Laboratory at the National Institutes of Health, is eager to join the fight. His determination is amplified when the virus threatens those he adores the most.
With the death count increasing every day, the sense of urgency is overwhelming. The search becomes personal as family, friends, and loved ones succumb to the deadly disease described as COVID-20.
