Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...

Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Dawn-Fire-Book...

Synopsis:

The ancient and enigmatic continent of Zannondale had seen its fair share of sorrow. Tortured and despoiled by the wars that had devastated its once glittering realms, it still felt the aftereffects centuries later. And now, from far back into the past, a new and more powerful evil than ever is rising, one that threatens to turn Zannondale’s fields to dust and her cities to ashes.

The brutal and merciless Baron Chronus has only one desire and that is to rule over all, no matter what. And for two young men, Dorian and Dain, it means the end of their carefree lives forever. Together with their mentor Julius and the ferocious warrior Kara, the two young men embark on a quest to defeat a shadowy evil, avenge the fallen and uncover long-forgotten secrets of a tragic and hidden past. They have the courage to face the evil that threatens to destroy them, but do they have the strength to defeat it?

Marian Kebab (mmkebab) | 3 comments I'm requesting a review. My book is Kindle edition only: free to borrow on Amazon Prime, free on KindleUnlimited.

Cleopatra 54 BC: When Your Father Leaves You The Family Business ~or~ Who Let The Scribes Out?

This book follows the lives and adventures of peasants, sailors, scribes, and priestesses drafted by the crown for a mission. Cleopatra is only 15 and it's 6 yrs before Caesar steps foot in Egypt, so it's not a velvety romance.

It's humorous historical fiction, not so much "Game of Thrones" ... more like "Scrubs". It's historically accurate in people, events, and technologies, but its more character driven as people just try to get by as simple things go unexpectedly sideways.

Cleopatra is a character, but she not the main character. As she struggles with the empire's finances, she sends two talented scribes on a 4000 mile roundtrip up the Nile to Meroe in Kush, while she wrestles with an embezzling Roman tax collector, tries to bend the loyalties of 2,500 Roman soldiers, and, anticipating the loss of Egypt's Roman protector (Pompey), makes diplomatic advances to Caesar deep in Gaul. A crocodile mauling, bandits, soldiers, pirates, the Sahara at its worst, many many scorpions, behind the scenes of religious temples ... there's a lot going on.

There are no bigger-than-life historic figures, just regular people you might run into in your neighborhood ... who just happen to live in 54BC and stumble into comic situations.

Embedded maps to keep oriented in Egypt, comic illustrations of characters to keep things light.

Laura | 11 comments Hi Everyone,

I recently published my debut novel, the e-book version of which will be FREE to download this coming SATURDAY 18 JULY from Amazon, so please do download, read and review.

Fairytales Don't Come True
Fairytales Don't Come True by Laura Lyndhurst

When middle-aged nurse Dora Stuart-Frazer is assigned to provide end-of-life care to ex-prostitute Magdalena, she suffers a failure of sympathy linked to the woman’s former career and her own mid-life marital issues.

Attempting to overcome her prejudices, not only against her patient but other members of the all-female household in which Mags lives, Dora finds herself an initially unwilling listener to the life-story which her patient wishes to recount in the course of her last few weeks of life.

However, as she listens each night to the unfolding story which Mags has to tell, Dora finds herself an increasingly-willing listener as she compares the life of the story-teller to her own and gradually forces herself to confront her own mid-life crisis.

Many thanks and I look forward to doing the same for you.

G.J. Griffiths (gjgriffiths) | 3 comments I sincerely hope that you and your family are keeping safe and well in these very strange Covid 19 times. We have stayed locked down since March and concentrate when we can on rewilding our garden, reading and writing. Like so many others we haven’t seen any family since last year ☹!

However, I am very thrilled to say that at last after about 10 months of various delays, my first audiobook, “So What! Stories or Whatever!” is now available. I have a limited number of codes to offer for a free copy in exchange for a review of the book. The book is based upon my experiences as a science teacher in South Manchester UK and is narrated by David Smith, who brings some compelling local dialect to the stories.

There is a link below to find out more details because I’m hoping you will accept one of the codes. A 5 minute sample is also available on Amazon. It takes about 12-14 hours of listening so I’m not expecting a review for a little while yet! If you are eating or drinking while listening then be warned - you might be shocked and astounded at some of the kids’ antics!
I do hope you feel you can accept.
Kind Regards,
G.J. Griffiths

The Blurb:
These stories from the classroom will have you laughing or weeping or, sometimes, both in the same minute! Whether you are a student, teacher, or parent, you will wonder: How do they survive? Waterloo Road or Grange Hill meets Gervase Phinn and Mr. Chips - well, maybe?

If you love this book or hate it, you will have to admit that the stories about its characters will stay in your memory for a long time. With more than 20 years teaching experience behind him, G.J. Griffiths has brought to the listeners some of the stories about the children he taught in this amusing, and often inspirational book.

Without exception, everyone will recognize the characters and their captivating tales. All through the book, we are made aware of the joys and disappointments experienced by the pupils and their teachers Mr. Jeffrey and his colleagues. With the ever-present controversy about changes in the education system, this is a timely illustration of what amusement and sorrow is often to be found in the classrooms of the contemporary high school.

"So What! Stories or Whatever" is set in the area of Greater Manchester, and this audio version of the classroom tales is brought brilliantly to life by the narrator through his natural, relaxed, and unaffected use of the regional dialect throughout the book.

Zita Harrison (httpswwwzitaharrisoncom) | 9 comments Hi, I need reviews for my Gothic/Supernatural Suspense, Owl Manor - Abigail. Must be able to post on Amazon U.S. and Goodreads.
Amazon description below.

14 years ago, Owl Manor trembled with echoes of madness, mysterious deaths and marauding owls.
In 1870, Abigail fled the horror of Owl Manor with her fiancé, Peter. But she carried with her the terrible notion that she is unworthy of love, instilled by her reluctant mother. If her own mother could not love her, how would anyone else?

She trusts no one and keeps herself buried in a crypt of churning emotions, away from the world. Deep inside, her soul screams at the thought of dying alone and unloved.

Now she is back. Abandoned at the altar, and with nowhere to go, she returns to Owl Manor. Thus begin the nightmares of violent rage and destruction, ghostly images.

What really happened 14 years ago?

Enter Victor, the complete opposite of Peter, yet frighteningly familiar at times.

And the owls circle the sky once again.

Inspired by authors such as Edgar Allan Poe (The Raven), Daphne du Maurier (Jamaica Inn), Carlos Ruiz Zafon (Shadow of the Wind), Owl Manor - Abigail is the second in the Owl Manor trilogy of Gothic suspense novels, and follows Owl Manor - the Dawning.

I can provide an .epub, .mobi, or .pdf. If interested, please email me at [email protected]. Thanks.

Part of the story takes place in the Canary Islands and there are a few phases in Spanish that may not be 100% correct.

If you're willing to read and correct my Spanish, I can send a free copy of the book.

Robert Drummond | 3 comments I am new to Goodreads. I live in Australia and have a self-published book in the Young Adult fantasy genre that I am looking to get reviewed. The few that have read the book really like it, but I really need more readers and reviews.

I have included below a brief intro to the book and if it piques your interest as something you would like to review just let me know (direct message) and I can provide a paperback copy or the eBook.

The Winds of Power – The Sleeper Prophecy
Four teenagers...one prophecy...magical powers and a thrilling alien space adventure.
The Winds of Power follows the adventures of four fifteen-year-olds as they travel through space towards the last remaining blue-violet star to test and develop their powers and friendships in an alien world filled with all manner of dangers and strange beings.

The death of a blue-violet star fifteen years ago saw solar winds carry charged particles to the ends of the galaxy, reaching the outer planet of Earth, and interacting with the genes of four newborn babies, and heightening the powers within them. It is later prophesized that a sleeper from an outer planet will help overthrow a great evil that threatens to destroy the seven planets that form the Galactic Alliance. The alliance, now under the shadow of a great evil, takes the teenagers out into space to determine who the sleeper is.

Many thanks

Muhammad Bilal | 9 comments Hi Dear

I've very recent self published anthology of my poems on amazon. Would you please review my book. I can send you mobi file of my book.
contact:[email protected]
http//www.bilalhassanpoet.wordpress.com......
blurb
These poems surpass in lyrical elegance;blunt expression of sensual love;rhythmic precision; metaphorical language and rhetoric- a material evidence of author's poetic genius. Muhammad Bilal, a new author, has made his mark while introducing his book to the readers.
This collection is an exquisite blend of emotion and thought.Vivid portrayl of pathetic romance entices the reader who feel dazzled by the beauty of lyrical account of sufferers of love.Thematic diversity adds to the dynamic resonance of the poems while concrete, crisp and lucid details of natural landscape lull the reader to slumber. Author has succeeded phenomenally in providing his readers exotic joy and pleasure.Therapeutic influence is a key feeture of these poems.
Poet's meditation also takes him to an indistinct valley of philosophisation where he deals with more complex matters of man and his existence. Here, he reflects on topics those galubrious and glum, unleashing his cynicims. Crumbling existence of man is
at the centre of such poems. Most of them are written in free verse, suitable for more refined topics.
Egalitarianism is well reflected in his poems that mirror to horrible conditions caused by deprivation and poverty. The tone of these poems is depressed, and a mood of melancholy descends on the reader.
Conclusively, author has dealt with themes of love, pity, fear, apprehension, injustice, jocundity, nature and death which prove verstility of author.

Hi Everyone!

My debut YA Fantasy Sci Fi, The Safekeeper, is available for free on Amazon Nov 19, 20 and 21.

The Safekeeper
The Safekeeper by Esther Archer Lakhani

Her job is to keep their secrets safe.

A secluded Retreat Center full of preternatural clientele. A talking crow who thinks she knows everything. A new boy in town asking a lot of nosy questions. Sound like a lot to handle? Not for fifteen-year-old Macy Steward, who lives at the Center and helps her parents run the highly unusual retreats.

For Macy, this is simply normal routine. And it’s all going exactly as expected, that is until the guests become dangerously unpredictable, the talking crow goes suspiciously missing, and the new boy turns out to be so much more than he first appeared.

“Here comes trouble.” That’s the last thing the crow says before disappearing.

Even though she doesn’t scare easily, Macy has to admit the crow was right. Because soon enough, she finds herself trying to keep a lot more things safe than just secrets...

Check it out, and if you miss the giveaway, send me a message and I'm happy to provide a pdf or mobi.

Thanks,
Esther Archer Lakhani

Fourteen Tiles: Real Stories of Unusual Characters
Real life is often more interesting than any fiction. In many countries and from WWII to the present times, this mosaic follows artists, programmers, scientists, soldiers, musicians, sailors, and Boy Scouts – some plain crazy but many of them unassuming, ordinary people who achieved amazing feats and survived wars or oppressive political systems without losing their sense of humor.
This book (225 pp.) fits several categories: Long stories, literary nonfiction, history, or memoir.
I write because I have a lot to say. I am a retired sea captain, offshore sailor, artist, amateur cellist, beekeeper, licensed trapper, and a co-founder of a major high-tech company. Ellen Brazer (ellenbrazer) | 4 comments Hello. I Am Meir's Brother will be available March 1, 2021 and I would be honored to send the manuscript to anyone interested in doing a pre-release review. Just email me at [email protected]
I Am Meir’s brother is a biography of the celebrated research scientist, Eliezer (Eli) Huberman, and the relationship he had with his Israeli spymaster brother, Meir (Huberman) Dagen. In order to grasp the influences that turn ordinary people into extraordinary people, the story begins with Eli and Meir’s parents. The family, including two-year-old Eli, escape from Poland and the Nazi extermination in 1941, only to find themselves entrapped in the frozen tundra of a Russian work camp. Through resilience, ingenuity and determination that would be passed down to their sons, the parents survive. Meir is born at the end of the war on the family’s way back to Poland, where they are greeted with devastation and derision. By the time they finally book passage to the newly formed State of Israel, their Zionist father has firmly instilled in the psyches of his sons a fervent commitment to a Jewish homeland. Eli excels as a gifted and exceptional student. He serves in the IDF, participates in the various wars, receives a master’s degree in microbiology and a PhD, and draws international attention for his published papers on cancer research. Upon meeting Lily Ginzburg, a life-long love affair begins. A child prodigy pianist from Lithuania and the descendant of survivors, the book examines her family’s life during the war and the impact it has on her. She becomes the bedrock of Eli’s existence, birthing and raising two sons, while shielding and protecting her husband from daily distractions. Eli’s demeanor, insightfulness and genius would open doors into the rarefied corridors of the greatest research institutions in Israel, America and the world. Every day of his life is spent searching for cures, unraveling mysteries, sailing another unchartered course, each step, deliberate and insightful. There are incalculable successes and heartbreaking failures, accolades and dismissals. Through it all, he never quits and never stops believing in the unbelievable.

While Eli devotes himself to science, his younger brother, Meir Huberman Dagan, dedicates his life to the State of Israel. A zealot like his father, Meir rises through the ranks of the Israel Defense Forces, eventually becoming a Major General. He is appointed Director of the Mossad, the National Intelligence Agency in Israel. A hero known as the King of Shadows, Meir is disappointed when his brother leaves Israel for America. Knowing he is unable to protect Eli and his family from the possibility of a retaliatory assassination attempt, Meir resolves to keep their familial relationship a secret. As proud as he was of Eli, it was not until the end of his illustrious life that Meir definitively acknowledges that he has a brother. The title of this book is Eli’s way of telling the world how honored he is to say, I Am Meir’s Brother.

Denis Roubien | 3 comments Hi everyone! I would be happy to get reviews for my travel book on some of the culturally richest but not enough known Greek Islands. You can get it for free from Jan 21 to Jan 25 here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08DV9PTT5 If someone interested in reviewing this book misses the free period, I will be glad to e-mail a copy.
This book describes, through a travel story and a large number of photos, the known and unknown treasures of three of the culturally richest and yet not enough known islands of Greece.
Having been the cultural and political centre of the Cyclades from ancient times to the Middle Ages, Naxos boasts a wealth of cultural treasures, covering a wide time range.
The island's spectacular beaches resulted in the treasures of the hinterland remaining unknown to the wide public.
Among other things, this book presents the most impressive kouroi of ancient Greece, temples that are considered the precursors of the Parthenon, unique iconoclastic and other Byzantine churches that compose what is called the Mystras of the Aegean.
Also, one of the best preserved fortified medieval settlements of the Aegean composing an islet from Greece of Latin domination that made it to our days, monasteries that housed schools of international fame, feudal towers and picturesque villages.
Last possession of Venice in the Aegean and thus last bastion of the Western World in the Eastern Mediterranean, Tinos boasts a wealth of cultural treasures, set in an exceptional landscape.
The fact that the church of the Virgin Mary in its port became the main pilgrimage of Greece resulted in the treasures of the hinterland remaining unknown to the wide public.
Among other things, this book presents medieval settlements, monumental churches, picturesque chapels, monasteries that housed schools of international fame, artistic dovecotes and the island's marble craftsmanship, inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Syros, the heart of the Cyclades, includes two very different settlements:
Ano Syros. A shelter from pirates, a cultural centre with some of the first schools in Greece and today a rare medieval fortified town.
And Hermoupolis. The former residential, cultural, commercial, and industrial centre of Greece. The world's largest neoclassical ensemble. A feast of images.
Although these treasures are presented through a hiking tour, also those who don't hike can see them, since they are also accessible by car.

Denis Roubien | 3 comments Hi everyone! I would be happy to get reviews for my travel book on Paris. You can get it for free from Jan 27 to Jan 30 here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084JLRSL8 If someone interested in reviewing this book misses the free period, I will be glad to e-mail a copy.
The originality of this book lies in the fact that it describes all the main cultural sights of Paris with a focus on Le Marais, the most historical and best preserved neighbourhood in the French capital, that escaped the city's transformation in the 19th century. This is done in the belief that this approach helps the visitor understand better this multi-layered and therefore complex -and, for this reason, fascinating- city. This book, based mainly on a large number of photos, accompanied by concise historical and architectural explanations, endeavours to reveal the treasures of Paris, including the less known ones, to the visitor who desires to discover them. Among other things, it presents interesting but not always sufficiently known museums, luxurious mansions, with sumptuous courtyard façades and lovely gardens hidden behind high walls, medieval houses with a wooden framework and Gothic basements and even the castle of 'the Primate of France'.

Cassandra Wolf | 2 comments Greetings,
My novella Celtic Warriors is on sale for $0.99 at major online booksellers. I would appreciate fair reviews of the book. Below is a synopsis of the plot and buy links for additional information.
If you are interested in reviewing Celtic Warriors, please send to me your e-mail address through the Goodreads e-mail system, and I will reply to you with a review copy. The other requirements I have are that you do not forward the review copy to anyone else, please, and that you include at the end of your review: “A free copy of this book was exchanged in return for an honest review.”
Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you. God bless you!
Celtic Warriors is about two Protestant families from England who move to Ireland in 1652 and encounter fierce opposition from Catholic Irish nationalists who resent the English invading their homeland. While animosity between the Protestants and Catholics heightens, a deeper relationship with God that can only be achieved through adversity develops even more among members of both sides.
Clean suspense, mystery, and romance combine to make this Christian historical fiction novella exciting and wholesome.

Lizzie Borden took an axe…

And so goes the song depicting the 1892 axe murders of her father and step-mother in Fall River, MA. Research has shown that a killer gene, or “warrior gene” could be passed down through generations of family members as suggested by the event in 1667, when Lizzie’s ancestor killed his wife and was subsequently hanged for the crime. This warrior gene is one of the themes running through my latest book, Chatroom with a View. Bullying, catfishing, kidnapping, and murder will take place from the early days of a physical chatroom to a present day online chatroom.

Does a killer gene actually exist? If so, can it be passed down through generations? Troy is next in line, according to the obsessed woman claiming to be pregnant with his baby, and she could be giving birth to the fourth-generation murderer. All she wants is a family, and she digs through dark secrets that Troy and his family had been hiding. Instead of running, she uses it against him to create that family. However, Troy can only pacify her to a point.

Synopsis: An extremely dysfunctional family kept Troy Cullen from a normal integration into society. This 24-year-old manages a diner, living at home to protect his mother from his abusive father. One night he comes home to witness his father assaulting his mother for the last time. Troy’s intervention may have been too late, but he finally repays his father for years of abuse. When his ex-girlfriend, Veronica forces her way back into his life with news that she’s pregnant, Troy’s life further unravels. He is losing control and it terrifies him, desiring to do unto others as they have done unto him. Meanwhile, Veronica digs up his family’s past, exposing a generational killer gene. Now she must try to balance her obsession for a family with shielding herself and her baby from evil. However, she’s not the better half.

SYNOPSIS: POPE BARNABAS

Author Bob Springett
Genre Fiction
Word Count 170,000 words
Font/Size Times New Roman/12
Target Market Adults interested in religion, even if not faithful themselves

Was Pope Barnabas a saint or a psychotic? Or could he have been both?

This book follows the career of a brilliant young Sydney man. After his fiancée is killed in a car crash in 1992 and he suffers some apparently negligible brain injuries, he enters the Catholic priesthood. As he progresses he seems to have some special gifts. Or are these 'gifts' no more than manifestations of subtle brain damage? Or perhaps emotional or psychiatric instability?

He is promoted through the various levels of the Church, during which time various episodes are narrated that show his development. These include the death of the senior priest in his first parish, a few examples of confessional hearings that outline his approach to pastoral care, his support of his mother when his father dies, and then his care for his mother when she becomes terminally ill. This is woven into historical events such as the Royal Commission into Institutional Child Abuse held in Australia. Other supporting characters are also developed during this time.

Eventually he is elected Pope in 2032, taking the name 'Barnabas'. Whatever the cause of his apparent gifts, his dynamism and dedication revitalises the Church. He achieves reforms long thought impossible and mends fences long thought to be irreparable. These achievements cause him to be hailed as a wise and open bridge-builder, opening the Church to public scrutiny, wider fellowship and modern patterns of thought.

But then he is forced to confront the darkest side of the Church. He encounters a man who had been subjected to clerical sexual abuse as a child and witnessed the murder of his twin brother during abuse. This affects Barnabas profoundly, causing him to become functionally illiterate and to revert to the intellectual equivalent of a twelve-year old. However, his 'gift' for empathy and pastoral concern is, if anything, amplified. His doctors read this provisionally as a psychologically-based trauma, and the symptoms as subconsciously self-inflicted. But there are some things, arguably miraculous but of a very minor nature, that can't be explained so glibly.

He is invited to confront the abused young man in a BBC interview and he accepts this challenge against the advice of his senior cardinals. This results in his death in front of the cameras, including the appearance of stigmata. Again it is not clear if this is miraculous or psychosomatically induced.

The answers this book suggests are tantalisingly ambiguous. Was Barnabas a saint or a psychotic? Or is a saint simply a psychotic that God uses? The eye of faith will see one thing, and the eye of doubt will see something else. Isn't that true of everything important in life?

Although set within the Catholic tradition, this book is more broadly relevant as it considers what separates saints or even charismatic secular leaders from psychotics. It is sympathetic to Catholic devotion and defends the sacramental approach with powerful eloquence in places, but is also alert to the scope for it to be abused.

Some awareness of the history, structures and teachings of the Catholic Church is helpful, but a reader without this background will still have no difficulty.

Steve Shwartz | 2 comments Hi,

If you read tech nonfiction, I'd love for you to review my book on AI that was published last month by Fast Company Press. The title is "Evil Robots, Killer Computers, and Other Myths: The Truth About AI and the Future of Humanity".

Evil Robots explains how artificial intelligence (AI) works in simple terms, why people shouldn’t worry about intelligent robots taking over the world, and the steps we need to take as a society to minimize the negative impacts of AI and maximize the positive impacts.

If you are interested, please let me know what ebook format (pdf, epub, mobi) you prefer via direct message or [email protected].

The purpose of this book is an awkward discussion of Eric Heard's life to his son. He talks about his life in a candid way that tries to explain his anxiety as an African American dad. It is an open and honest account of his life through the life of a child that has been through a lot in his life. It is a reflection on his life that has been shaped by his childhood experiences.

Robert Hookey | 2 comments Hello, everyone.

My name is Robert Hookey, but you can call me The Hook; everyone else does. Well, except my wife and daughter; they call me Skippy. Yeah, I know...

I'm a blogger/author who hails from Niagara Falls, Ontario. I used to be a bellman (or may still be, my profession is in limbo for now) and I recently took a leap of faith while in lockdown and released my first novel, all 283 pages of it, Into The Dark: Book One of the Infinite Crossover Crisis, on Amazon.

(Can you tell I'm a nerd?)

I've self-published so now I'm self-promoting as well.

At any rate, here's the synopsis of Into The Dark for your approval/enjoyment:

Are you afraid of The Dark?
You should be.

They are all around you, even in the daylight. Directing. Scheming. Manipulating. Whispering in your ear. You’d see them if you only dared to really look at the shadows, at the corners and angles where the light can’t reach.

The world you’ve been living in, one where monsters don’t go bump in the night is a lie, one created to keep the sheep content while the wolves feast.

An imbalance of unimaginable proportions has swept the world, causing the concept of good vs. evil to exist only in comic books and movies. The Balance between The Light, The Grey, and The Dark has been swept away in a river of blood.

But you can go back to your cable TV, your streaming, your Insta Tikking or whatever the hell it’s called. My team and I have your back. We’re not the heroes you’d ask for, but we’re the only ones you’re going to get. God help you.

(Actually, scratch that, She’s long gone.)

Okay, fine, so there’s a good chance humanity is doomed...

***************

As for my book's genre... there are elements of Sci-fi mixed with Horror mixed with Superhero Fiction, all shaken, not stirred. I wrote this book to keep myself from crumbling under the weight of Covid depression and the anxiety of losing too many people (like my mother to bone cancer and best friend to suicide) in the last few years. In the next two installments I'm going to expand the story to include public domain literary heroes and villains like Dracula, Professor James Moriarty, the Black Terror, original Blue Beetle Dan Garret and many more.

Please contact me at [email protected] if you'd like to give me an honest review of Into The Dark.

I know it's not always easy in these challenging times, but have a great day, everyone!

Robert “The Hook” Hookey

Would you be interested in reviewing a dark dystopian romance?
-Synopsis-
The perfect daughter, the perfect partner and the perfect medic-that’s me, or at least that’s what I have been working on for most of my life.
So, what if I find my papa has a condition that has no discovered cure? I can work harder to make him proud while he still remembers me.
So, what if I secretly don’t think I am good enough for Nathan? I can try harder.
So, what if I have discovered I don’t have the people skills to be a medic? I can plan to go into research.
See, I am adaptable.
After all, it has only been about two hundred years since the world went to hell. With the natural disasters and then the pandemic. With extra-terrestrials swooping in to the rescue. At a price, of course. Nothing comes for free.
The new world order is a human-eat-human one. And the hand I have been dealt is a pretty darned good one. Even Freya, my roomie and best bud, has learned to put up with my borderline OCD tendencies. Yes, life is good.
And then they take it all away.
Every little bit I have built up.
Every shred of what I believe makes me.
But they will pay. If I ever make it out of this alive.

I can send it to your kindle.
Please get in touch if you are interested.

Misha Quinn (misha_quinn) The Independent Woman a clean billionaire romance (The Salamander Book 2) by Misha Quinn

Hi, I am looking for Amazon and Goodreads reviews for my book The Independent Woman: a dark billionaire romance.
Book launch date is June, 17.

There is an Amazon link:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08...

If you are interested in a reviewing of a "slightly" dark romance novel, please message me via Goodreads.
I can provide it as an ebook to your Kindle (after June, 17) or as a low resolution PDF proof copy.

P.S: For some reasons, there still sub-title as "clean b. romance", but it is not - I have changed it on Amazon to "a dark b. romance", but cannot change on Goodreads yet. You know, when I planned the series, there were not any "darkness", only "sweetness", but the story goes as it goes - as our life, too:))) Without challenges there is no any personal development for the Heroine of this novel / series....

The Independent Woman: a clean billionaire romance

Thank you in advance,
Misha Quinn, author

Sean Sexton (seanedwardsexton) | 3 comments Neptune's Rage was just accepted by Bookbub.

I hope you have the chance to read it and review.

This is the story of Stephen Owens, after a rough childhood, finds himself at home with a pirate crew. The story follows Stephen as he interacts with historical figures in situations they could have possibly been in. Unlike a lot of tales of pirates this historical has been thoroughly researched and does not portray pirates as swashbucklers from the Errol Flynn era of Hollywood films.
Stephen uses piracy to fight the ills of the British and Spanish empires chief among them slavery, and gets rich in the process through both skill and luck. The people he meets in the course of his adventures all have different motives than he for their piracy but they all have one thing in common. They are criminals in the eyes of the law and the realisation that they could be killed, either by the noose or in combat, does not deter them from their lifestyle of choice.

Arch Delaro (archdelaro) | 1 comments Hello, new author here.

I'm looking for upmarket readers who are tired of commercial fiction and want more depth. Satirical dystopian for adults.

Inner demons destroy modern society through the divorce of spirit and soul. This bane afflicts all humans, and it has a name—Distortion, a widespread, severe, and revamped form of neurotic anxiety leading to psychosis.

ENTANGLED occurs in Montreal between 2019 and 2039 during which a group of strong minds defy what is considered to be the greatest threat in human history—the complete loss of meaning. In the world of THRESHOLDS, this period marks the ascension of artificial intelligence and the rise of a new state of Distortion—the Gone state.

Stewart Dykins, a brilliant politician, joins a project that challenges him: he helps The Last Resort cure humanity of Distortion. His dauntless daughter Agnes is reluctantly pulled into his legacy to change the world. She is inspired by her friend Edvard Wolstenholme, a paraplegic whose courage allows him to reach the higher end of fame—he is key to Baltazar, the AI responsible for saving humanity.
