B.L. Brooklyn (BLBrooklyn) | 7 comments Hi,

I enjoy hunting for a good read, preferably paranormal romance, fantasy or sci-fi but I also know the value of a widely versed book-friend with a large bookshelf. So, here I am looking for suggestions on books in those categories and someone who likes to talk books.

Hi BL

Could I suggest you mention some of the authors you already enjoy :) I have really enjoyed Ilona Andrews, Nalini Singh, Jeaniene Frost, Larissa Ione, Chloe Neill, Thea Harrison, Darynda Jones to name but a few. Feel free to look through my pnr and uf shelves to see if you see anything you like :)))

Mlpmom (Book Reviewer) (mlpmombookreviewer) | 839 comments All Beebs authors they named are great ones. I would like to add Cecy Robson, Suzanne Johnson, Kim Harrison, Kelley Armstrong, Patricia Briggs, and Linda Grimes to the list as well.

Patricia Briggs is great! I will look at the others ones. Do you have one you enjoy most?

I looked through your bookshelf, and I asked to follow you. You have good taste.

Thank you :) I tend to read just about everything or every genre anyway.

It really depends on what you like more but they are all great authors with great series so any of them would be good.

I'm really loving Armstrong's Cainsville series right now though, it is just a lot of fun and something different.

Cindi (ourtrumpcard) Kim Harrison's The Hollows, Rachel Vincent Stray (Shifters, #1) by Rachel Vincent , Chloe Neill's Chicagoland Vampires, and and indie author whom I simply ADORE due to the very unusual take on "vampires", C.D. Hussey La Luxure Discover Your Blood Lust (Human Vampire #1) by C.D. Hussey (and isn't that bookcover HAWTT?!)

Mojca Črnigoj (pinkpanter) | 1 comments I reccomend Warden (Elemental Paladins, #1) by Montana Ash It surprised me. I enoyed the story, dialogs, writing. The best book I read in last year.

♥Lynn ♥ | 519 comments It's hard finding a good book sometimes. If it wasn't for GR and friends who read the same genre as I do, I would be lost!

I had looked at Stray before. I downloaded the sample from Amazon for free and didn't get into it. But I did look at CD Hussey's book you suggested and it looked great! I almost began downloading it but thankfully another review said there was a cliff hanger (of sorts) so I will put it on my to-read list and wait because I have a very strong vengeful spirit with cliff hangers. ahhaha. Thank you for the recommendations.

I looked at the book you recommended, The Warden, and I couldn't tell if this was a paranormal romance or an urban fantasy. It looks interesting, but I was wondering if you could let me in on it and if it has a cliff hanger please.

I agree it's hard to find a good place to search for books. When I first started getting into reading I only looked at Amazon's recommendations. What a joke that was. Since then I've settled into searching books on goodreads, my favorite book blog: bookbinge.com and pinterest of all places. But I never thought to ask other readers what their favorites are, and I'm glad I did. I read heavily this weekend with some great recommendations.

Hi Kim,
Thank you for taking a chance on my book, I hope you like it. I welcome any comments and feedback - regardless if you loved it or hate it - and want to burn the book if it wasn't downloaded; but, if you do like, I am interested to hear what you enjoyed most.

Do you usually read paranormal romance? If so, who's your favorite author?

Hi! Yes, it does have a cliffhanger. If you're not into cliffhangers, the next book in the series is due out in April, so it's not too long to wait :) And means it is the perfect time to get acquainted with Max and her knights! I am actually Montana Ash and I consider myself a paranormal and fantasy romance author. Warden is not your run of the mill paranormal romance. It has supernatural/magic elements but is probably more fantasy based than paranormal. Thanks to anyone giving the Elemental Paladins a whirl! And of course, Max - she's feisty :) Good luck on the book hunt. I feel like all I do is hunt as well :)
