Thank you :)

Hey, I just checked out your twitter and I thought I'd give you a bit of constructive criticism/tips.
First: make sure you have the right balance of tweets to retweets. People will follow you for your own voice and insights, not for who and what you retweet. I'd say a good rule of thumb is 4 tweets for every retweet.
Second: tweet content. When I follow a person on twitter, I do so because they have funny, original, or relatable tweets. Every day or so, post a tweet like that. For example, "I love it when..." or "This morning I realized..."
Fourth: I know people like to name themselves cute things on Twitter, but the best thing to call yourself is your actual name. It is totally my own opinion, but I would drop the "AKA MTB44 ;)" from your name.
Last: a good way to get your name out there and find new followers to to add trending hashtags to your tweets. With twitter, it is very important to be current and relevant. So, say your favorite author just announced a new book. You better tweet about it right away and add the author's twitter handle and the name of the book as a hashtag. Other fans of that author will see your tweet in the search and they just might check out your profile.
Best of luck. I followed ya.

Thanks for your points Sara, I'm just about to post some very exciting bookmail that arrived today from Bloomsbury Publishers so I'll be sure to use tags for that! :)
