How do you feel about YA urban fantasy?

Unwanted by Amanda Holohan was good too.

I also enjoyed the Under the Never Sky trilogy by Veronica Rossi.

There's also my trilogy, the Verindon trilogy. You can find out more about it here: www.lynnestringer.com/verindon

I know sometimes it's inevitable to have one or two "holes" in a plot or a character design, and i can look past that. But I've had a hard time recently with finding YA books/series that aren't absolutely riddled with these "holes". So much to the point that i can't shut my brain off to them past a certain length in the book.
So I'd like for you all to suggest to me your favorite YA stand alones or series that you feel had very few (or no) "holes"
My favorite kind of YA is fantasy. A perfect example of the kind of book or series I'm looking for is like The Raven Cycle series!! But I'm open to other book types too!!
Thanks for your help!
