Jamie ~ Bad Boy Inspector (jamie_badboyinspector) | 4 comments Ok my fellow book lovers, I have been out of the loop for awhile and now I am in need of my fix..lol I am looking something a bit specific so I hope someone can help. I want a "sit you on the edge of you seat story" with an HEA and sort of slow burn romance. You know the "I want you but I don't want you kind" or "I want you but can't have you". I don't want sweet romance. I want it dirty, complicated or dark. Taboo would also work. Alpha male all the way..lol Some else recommended Corrupt and that is exactly what I am looking for. Can be PNR, contemporary, new adult, sci-fi but has to have HEA already available. I really hope you all can help me. Thank you in advance.

Heidi Angell (heidiangell) | 64 comments You should try the Clear Angel Chronicles, Book one is Elements of a Broken Mind and book two is Angel's Dance.

Clear is a psychic who partners up with jaded Detective Grant Anderson. He is a major Alpha, and resents working with a psychic. Despite both being very broken, and drawn to each other, their romance is complicated to say the least.

Plus, they hunt serial killers!

Anthony Newman | 2 comments You should check out Sebastian: The life of Sebastian and Hanna Greene. Definitely complicated, dark, horror but light as well.

Jane Jackson (janejackson91) | 2 comments Just finished two books. Both I'd highly recommend, and also I'd welcome some feedback from others on them too.
The first was "Once Bitten, Twice Die" by Antony J. Stanton.
It's written by an indie author, and hence I was intrigued to see if there was much difference from a mainstream author. Brilliant book, very fresh and an interesting new angle on a well-loved genre. An exciting feel, possibly because it was an indie author, quite raw and intoxicating 'cos of it. HIGHLY recommended. Anyone else read it? Thoughts?

The second was "Station 11" by Emily St John Mandel
Not at all what I expected, but I won't give any spoilers. Very well-written, a great book, and again highly recommended. Again, anyone else read it?
