Super Heroes RP discussion

Caution turned her head slowly. Her eyes never left Raven's hand. She said something she couldn't hear.

Connor began to recover slowly.

"I think it's best if we all learn a little bit of trust."Captain announced. Caution's hand clenched at the word. "Trust?" She chuckled. "What would any of you know of such a word?" She asked, her gaze remaining on Gwen's hand.

(Gwen isn't here)

Raven stepped back and just watched Caution. She really wanted to stay on her good side but that didn't seem to be working out.

Lenneth nodded at Captain America's words he knew that he needed to get better with the whole trust thing for his sister's sake.

Caution dropped into a seated position on the ground. Steve looked confused. "What are you doing?"

"Trust-that's going to take a while, don't you think?" She asked with a glint in her eye while her head was leaned slightly to the side.

Lenneth smiled and sat down a couple feet behind Caution.

Marie sat next to Lenneth.

Raven and Starfire were on their way over to Connor to see if he was ok.

"If anything Cap, we might as well share our deadly sins," She said while her eyes were closed. Cap looked at her warily before sitting down. "I suppose you have a point," he said. He looked around. Connor began to stand slowly.

Starfire got to Connor first but floated silently in front of him.

Raven took a deep breath before speaking. "Are you ok? You were in a lot of pain."

"So Raven since you're so keen on regaining your potential friendhsip with me, why don't you share?" Caution asked.

((Sorry Raven had kinda stopped giving Caution her full attention.))

Raven took Caution's lack of speech as a hint that she had already said it. She thought through everything. "I'm not sure what my deadly sins are. Probably just killing my father but I had no choice."

Caution laughed. "How wonderful," Cruelty oozed from her tone. "At least I am not the only one whom has gotten her hands dirty, am I?" She glared at Raven without a reason.

Laura side glanced at Raven. Captain watched carefully. His hand rested nearby his hand knife. With Caution, anything was possible and she was unpredictable as hell.

"And what of you Star girl?" Caution chuckled. Connor narrowed his eyes at Caution. Sometimes she was ridiculous.

"I do not understand. I value my friends more than myself but that is not bad. It is not a sin. A fault, sure, but not a sin." Starfire looked to Raven for help and got none.

Caution scoffed. "Whatever." She seemed disappointed. "At least you've killed before-right?" She looked directly at Star.

"Not really. Just in defense of myself and my friends. Never because of anger and hatred."

"All the same," Caution sighs with disappointment. "Blood is blood star. No matter what way you put it, you've taken a life." She looks around uninterested.

"Um." Cap looks around. Connor is regaining his breathing and is looking better already.

(Can u facilitate the next thing for the trust stuff)

Marie looked around at the group. "What about you C-" her sentence was cut off rather rudely before she could actually address Caution.

Lenneth decided to interrupt and go next. "I've kept Gwen from the truth. Up until this point she's seen the world as being sunshine and rainbows all the time. It's my fault that she doesn't know what really happened to her and it's also my fault that she will never remember it for herself. Our sister Claire's death is on my hands." He had never told anybody what had actually happened to their sister and he really didn't want to now.

Captain sighed. "I doubt anyone here is free of guilt." The blonde soldier looked down at his own hands, the ones that appeared only centimeters away from his nose. Memories swirled throughout his mind. "Caution's right." He declared after a long excrustiating second. Caution, the dark brunette looked up confused.
"Blood is blood." A small smile appeared upon her close lips, "But that doesn't mean it was right." The smile disappeared in an instant. "If taking a life means the good of man kind and will only bring us prosper and peace in the end," Steve murmured, thinking of Hydra and his expression hardened, "Then I suppose it's inevitable, eh?"

(I was tired as well which is why I sent something to Claire before posting it here. But Hakuna Matata let's move forward. That was a great job with Cap. I want you to know that whenever I say things like last night I talk it out before I send it and I really don't send it with a rude tone or anything. I'm always being calm and civil and I'm just trying to help.)

Lenneth slunk back into a corner.

Marie nodded.

Starfire shrugged.

Raven turned back towards Connor.

Cap sighed and leaned against the wall. "So are we all in agreement here?" He eyed each and every member in the room.

"I would love to begin separating into our groups," He announced and took out a slip of paper from his pocket.

Cap cleared his voice. "Ok, roll call." He scanned the list. "Downstar," No one replied. He sighed. "Miles Morales." Again no response. "Cassandra, Skye, Nightwing and Bucky," He looked up, "When they arrive someone shall inform them of their medical purpose. We may need more assistance than that when fighting a rouge robot, but for the time being I advise you all to get ready, emotionally physically and mentally. I would like to return home with you all." His words lingered in the room.

'Alright then, Gwen, Lenneth, Batman, Nightwing, Talia and Loki, you're on ground patrol with me. We will assist the fight from the ground and do our best to lessen Ultron's numbers. If I tell you to retreat-you do without argument."

"Starfire, Raven, Superboy," He looked over at them. "You'll take commands and assist Downstair in the sky. Your eyes and ears will be our asset."

Marie, Starfire, and Lenneth all nodded while Raven was too busy keeping an eye on Connor's recovery to really care.

"It's about time we got our assignments handed out," Lenneth complained to himself.

Caution side glanced at her. "If your name has been called please report to your appropriate training facilities."

(I'm going to make them in a few minutes. If you want to help go ahead. They are threads.)

Marie raised her hand. "And what about the rest of us who didn't have their name called?"

(I was getting to that.)

"Those who remain," He glanced at Caution. "Caution, Rouge, Starfire, Banner, Laura and Bucky as well, you'll be assisting Firststrike. You won't come into play immediately for I believe Ultron will try to lessen our numbers before he attacks Firststrike of course."

Caution sighed and leaned back. "What a drag," She muttered aloud her eyes closed.

Marie nodded. She was glad that she'd be staying with Firststrike. They had started this together and it only seemed fitting that they would finish it together as well.

"Can we go now?" Caution groaned. Connor flexed his arms over his head and yawned.

"Are you ok?" Raven asked Connor again. She was once again speaking in a monotone. She had shut off her mind and shut herself out from the thick fog of emotions in the room.

"Fine," He replied. War, he thought. "Are you ready?" He asked Raven.

Raven shrugged. "Yeah. Not like I have a choice to not be ready."

Connor just looked at her.

Raven turned and walked to the door. She somehow felt even further from Connor than when they had first met. She just wanted to start training at this point.

Starfire landed next to Connor but didn't say anything about their exchange. "I am sorry for my words earlier. It appears that I have made things worse and I just need to leave you and Raven alone."

Marie stood and looked at Firststrike. "You ready for this?"

He nodded. "Are you?"

She nodded back. "Although by the sound of it the only powers I'll have constant access to are Starfire's and regeneration from either Caution or Laura. Not entirely sure how well that's gonna work out but at least we have time to train first."

He nodded. "At least that's good."

"Yeah. So is there anyone here that you haven't dealt with in alternate realities?"

"Actually a fair amount."

"Who?" Marie asked curiously.

Caution got up and walked over to First Strike.

"What's up Caution?"

Caution looks at him but doesn't give anything away. She begins to think about Xavier and it doesn't help that they are about to go to war.
Inside, Overdrive is itching to put her unique genetic mutations to use. For good or bad, she has no alliance to anyone. It wasn't even common knowledge to Xavier she had no ties that bound her to Caution either-it was pure embodiment. Nor the fact she tried to kill Caution more than once.

"You look like your concerned about something." He commented.

(Sorry, I haven't been paying attention to this RP for a while...)

Caurion shook it off, "It'll be fine," she said. Her lack of words was a clear sign that his fears had been confirmed. She was unpredictable and no one had the power to change that about her.

"Should we practice our combo?" Caution asked her voice low not to grab any attention other than first strikes.
