For those who write books related to history, nothing succeeds like a factual background. If Pennsylvania is of interest, then for anyone living within driving range of Easton, Pa., The Forks of the Delaware Chapter 14 of the Pennsylvania Society for Archeology invites you to attend a meeting. Participation is open to archeology professionals, students, amateurs or anyone with an interest in archeology and the history of Eastern Pennsylvania. We meet the first Thursday of each month. Discussion can revolve around anything pertaining to American Indian habitation of Pennsylvania or the past history of settlers moving into the area in the 1600s to 1800s. Chapter 14 will be having its meeting at 7 p.m. on June 5 at the Palmer Township Municipal Building located next to the Palmer Police Dept. just off of Rt. 248, in Palmer, PA. The speaker will be announced at a later date.
