Yay! I've always hoped that my pre orders would come early, so far it hasn't happened.

I seem to be lucky. I think Chapters sends books as much as a week early whenever possible. :)

I preordered Sarah Dessen's new novel Once and for All the other day. It doesn't come out until June, but I'm really excited for it.

I also preordered White Sand Volume II by Brandon Sanderson. It should release in July. Can't wait to get them!

I just ordered Age of Myth so that I can start it next Monday. I couldn't get a copy from the library so decided to go ahead and buy it.

You should! I've heard great things about his books. I was planning to start with another of his series, but then I was able to get a review copy of the sequel to this, so that changed. :)

I've actually been accepted to read one of us is lying on netgalley but when I saw it in store I had to buy it because the edges of the pages are pink and I've never had a book like that before so I thought why not haha :)

My books just came in! It's very unfortunate that I'm too tired to start reading them right now. :(

I was having trouble using my 10 dollars in points to buy it and called the store, the head office and went to the physical store and no one seemed to know what to do. So they ended up giving me a free 10$ gift card. :)

No way. That is a tough book to buy. At least you have a good story.

So...I shouldn't have, because I already own a paperback copy, but I picked up a hardcover of The Alloy of Law today. I decided that since I have the other two books in hardback and will be getting the final book when it releases, that I needed a matching one. Plus I was able to use credit that I had in store.

Just pre-ordered ! Can't wait to read it!

Me too! I love her series and it's been a really long time since she released one! I was starting to think there would never be another one!!!!

I love both her Tortall and Emelan series. She is one of my top 3 favorite authors. ^-^

I read most of her books but it's been years, so I don't remember that much of them anymore.

I'm about to go into Waterstones in Sheffield and get saga #2 and hopefully a whole load of books😍

Are you serious???? She is my all-time favorite author and THE pivotal author of my childhood. I HIGHLY recommend reading anything by her. They are short reads. Talk to me about a reading order. They are so good. Her first series, the Alanna series has some of the flaws of a first novel and is a teensy bit derivative so I recommend you start with Wild Magic. You being an animal/horse person would LOVE it. I am sure.
