Gottie H. Oppenheimer is losing time. Literally. When the fabric of the universe around her seaside town begins to fray, she's hurtled through wormholes to her past:

To last summer, when her grandfather Grey died. To the afternoon she fell in love with Jason, who wouldn't even hold her hand at the funeral. To the day her best friend Thomas moved away and left her behind with a scar on her hand and a black hole in her memory.

Although Grey is still gone, Jason and Thomas are back, and Gottie's past, present, and future are about to collide—and someone's heart is about to be broken.

Sarah, I have not gone AWOL. I repeat - I have not gone AWOL. I had to work late yesterday because we were wrapping up March. I'm knocking off a bit early today to get some reading time in, so I'll be able to conversate!

It has improved slightly, but it's still not brilliant.

Yes, it's a slow, steady pace. Nothing exciting so far.

32% (view spoiler)[This book is a really slow read for me because it's just not keeping my attention. I don't even understand the point of this story. It would be one thing if the rest of the story was exciting and the wormholes were an added element, but it's not. And if the rest of the story isn't exciting, then being able to 'change' things in the wormholes could spice it up. There just doesn't seem to be anything happening that's of any significance. The writing is a little odd and I understand the wormholes, but it's kind of odd having it appear like this. How does Gottie blank out and just suddenly wake up and then blame it on a wormhole? Sorry I've been super busy lately, but 50% (view spoiler)[ I'm getting more into the book, but it's probably because I'm understanding it more. I don't necessarily like the idea of wormholes because they seem so confusing in this book. I do hope Thomas and Gottie will end up together. (hide spoiler)]

75% (view spoiler)[ This book is honestly a struggle to get through. It's good that her and Jason are officially done. Just as soon as she's getting comfortable with Thomas he tells her that he's going to be leaving. (hide spoiler)]

finished (view spoiler)[ I can't believe Thomas just freaked out when he was told that Gottie had sex with Jason. He just left again, I know she lied to him about doing anything. He also lied about not leaving again and he just made a huge deal out of it. It's in the past. I'm happy Thomas and Gottie ended up together in the end and that she now is allowing love into her life. This just wasn't the book for me though, I was expecting way different. (hide spoiler)]
