Lyra Shanti (lyrashanti) | 8 comments Hi, readers! I could really use honest reviews of my Shiva XIV series from those who genuinely love epic sci-fi/fantasy.

description

Blurb for book 1:

"Prophecy rules, science rebels, and the fate of all depends on a boy named Ayn. Predestined to become the great messiah of his people, Ayn must save his galaxy from disease and war. But can he do it, and should he? Is it even his true place? Ayn must decide before it's too late!

Book One begins with Ayn's birth and follows him as he discovers the world outside the palace he was raised. A coming of age story amidst galactic turmoil, Shiva XIV has action, romance, mysticism, and magical creatures. Join Ayn and his friends as his journey to become a heroic legend unfolds."

You can check it out here: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Books 1 and 2 equally need reviews, so if you're up to reading both books, that would be wonderful.

If you're interested, let me know your preferred format with your email addy so I can send you a copy for free. You can also email me at [email protected]. Thanks so much!

Anna Erishkigal (annaerishkigal) Hi Lyra!

Could you please remove the Amazon links, add your book blurb HERE, and clarify that you are offering a free .pdf for a review copy (as otherwise this looks like spam)?

Also, you might get more interest if you post a LARGE copy of your book cover, 400x600. Click into 'some html is ok' to grab the code and substitute a link to your uploaded cover.

Lastly, you can convert your files to a 'good enough' .epub and .mobi using the free Calibre software. .pdf's read wonky on most ereaders, so it will limit interest.

Amelia (ameliabaldwin) | 41 comments Yes, please. I will be happy to read and review it if you have Kindle files. The PdFs often don't let me increase the font.

Thanks for clarifying the specifications, Anna. I shall update my post. However, I've used calibre and for some reason, it never really comes out correct looking when I try to read the converted mobi in kindle. I prefer giving away PDF because of that fact. Personally, I find that it's much easier to read a PDF on my kindle app.

I can send you a mobi or the "kindle ready" pdf. PM me your email and I'll send you either book 1 or both books. :)

Anna Erishkigal (annaerishkigal) Convert your source document to 'save as' .rtf format, and then from there use Calibre to convert it into an .epub and .mobi file. If you used Microsoft Styles for your chapter headers, it should convert just fine. If you convert from a .pdf it makes a mess.

If you own Scrivener, you can also export your manuscript as an .epub.

Ok, cool. I'll try it from .rtf. Thanks!
