Hmmm I could go with Rebel and Princess but whats Alpha and beta?

Declan Witters a rebel on a mission. How did he get himself in this predicament? He was hanging for his life on the edge of a castle wall waiting for the guards to pass. His mission to kill the princess

Declan finally got past the guards and made his way to the servants quarters. When he reached them he took some servants cloths and changed into them hiding a knife in his sleeve. Slowly he made his way to the princesses room

Declan made it to the princesses door and knocked he had a tray with a cup of water in his hand

Declan walked in "Your water your majesty." he said he walked into the room and looked around then at the his target

"A servant your majesty." he said he carefull checked to make sure his knife was still in his sleeve

"Declan your majesty." he said carefully slipping his knife out

Declan set the tray down And hid his knife in the back of his pants "Yes your majesty I was told to bring you some water."

Declan made his move he stepped towars her and put his knife to her neck "Don't move, Don't Scream, Don't make a sound." he said quietly in her ear

"Tell him you'll be right there." Declan said

"I'm from the rebels and I've been sent to kill you." he said "here's how it will work I will escort you to the ball and you will greet people and then we will leave."

"Damn"Declan ran out the door and threw his knife at the princess catching the shoulder of her dress

Declan ran after her. He didn't know the castle very well so he had to stay totally aware of where he was. Mentally he took note of all the twists and turns he took while chasing her.

Declan stopped at the sight of the guards hoping they hadn't seen him he slowly turned around and walked back the way he came

Declan slowly tried to find his way out of the castle he ended up going in a circle and ran right into a guard "Exuse me." he said "ill be out of your way." he kept his face down so the guard couldn't see and continued walking

Declan kept walking he finally found the way out of the corridor and stumbled into the ball room.

Declan walked passed the king and bowed lowly "Your Majesty." he said he saw the princess he could still finish his mission. Declan kept his head low and went to the far end of the room

Declan snuck behind the Princess as she sat down, he was taking a big risk here he noticed his knife she had hid it in her girdle. "Damn." he grumbled to himself how was he supposed to get it now

Declan leaned down and picked up the knife "Now your majesty lets go outside." he stood up keeping the knife out of everyones veiw

Declan grabbed her arm and twisted from the headlock shoving her arm behind her back making her drop the knife "Lets go." he growled

Declan doubled over in pain he couldn't move he slowly stood up "I will kill you." he hissed at her

Declan struggled against the guard to no avail. he sat unmoving in the dungeon with his back to the bars he heard some one come in

Declan didn't answer right away he sat unmoving not facing the princess finally he answered "Let them try me." he said "More will come you will die."

Declan smiled though she couldn't see it "You think we didn't know that. of course you know where the camp is. You know because we wanted you to know." Declan didn't come from that base that was just bait he came from the secret base hidden far from the eye of the king

Declan turned and looked at her "Why would you do that?" he asked "Even if I don't kill you they will send others to take my place."

Declan was touched by the kindness of the Princess he couldn't say anything finally he just broke down crying

Declan didn't say anything he just kept crying he couldn't stop "I-I'm sor-r-ry." was all he could get out

Declan shook and couldn't stop "They'll come for me now." he said shaking for his whole life he worked with the rebels and now he was apologizing to the princess and he also failed his job now they would kill him

Declan shook his head "to bring down the monarchy. " he said

Declan laughed a bitter laugh. He wiped his face and sat up straight "You think we want any of you aliv." He said "I was assigned to kill you but im not the only assassin. "

Declan scrambled over to Alia "Alia!" He said withpure sympathy in his voice "What happened. " he scooted as close as he could pulling her into a hug

"I almost had the princess." Declan explai "she has a deep wound in her shoulder from my knife."

Declan lightly ran his hand across the wound "Are they going to treat it?" he asked worriedly

Declan pulled his hand back "Sorry." he said "now what are we going to do?"

Declan smiled "Excellent." he said though he was feeling very confused right now the princess was going to set him free after he wounded her

"Or we could pick the lock and Kill her and the prince." Declan said "Kill to with one stone. the couldn't have gotten very far."

Declan looked worried really worried the princess was being so kind after they tried to kill her and her brother he looked between the to girls not knowing what to do

Declan didn't move he looked at Alia "Sh-sh-she was helping us." he said "she was going to set me free before." Summer was bleeding he didn't know what to do "Why do we do this?"

Declan didn't know what to do he stood frozen in place finally he picked up a piece of stone from the ground and bashed himself in the head hoping he would die he couldn't stand this anymore. he blacked out

Declan stirred he didn't open his eyes. his head hurt he tried to remember where he was. then he remembered he tried to sit up but he was restrained to a medical bed slowly he opened his eyes and looked around

Declan looked ashamed "It wasn't me." he mumbled "I stayed in the cell Alia left me."

"Was." Declan said emphasizing the past tense "Kill me anyway I deserve it." he closed his eyes and blacked out again

Declan woke up again still restrained to the chair he didn't move "Alia said you wouldn't have set me free." he said

"I don't know." Declan said "I don't know anything anymore."
