Has anyone else noticed that almost all books are released on a Tuesday? Does anyone know why?

New music and dvds also tend to be released on Tuesdays as well. I gave it a google, it seems that weekly sales start Tuesday and end on the following Monday. That way they have 7 days of sales to count in their weekly sales and comparison each week is more accurate.

Haha i noticed cause I always pay attention to when some of my anticipated books come out and it always fell on a Tuesday.

I really feel stupid though because I have all my release dates marked on the calendar! I paid more attention to the date not the day of the week! When I saw this post I went to my calendar to see if it was true, and was stunned to see that it was! Learn something new every day though, right? XD

Yeah for real, I didn't know that! OMG!

I only noticed because I have to work Tuesday nights so I don't have time to read the books all day

I always have time to read about muffins.
