She frowned. Science doesn't happen in this world? "Oh. Sorry. Uh, but your better now right." She said carefully.

"Yeh. I am," he said and then leaned over to drink some more water.

She paused and looked at the water. "Ah, do you always come here? Are you familiar with the waters?" She asked him softly.

"Yes, I guess you could say that," he said.

She quietly starts to walk towards him until she hears shouts of men and small clashing of metal. "What is that?"

"We have to go," he said and pushed himself to stand up. He lifted the hood of his dirty cloak onto his head. He looked at her clothes and frowned. What was she wearing?

She was wearing jean shorts and t-shirt with 'Beach life' written in cursive font. She blushed when she saw him looking. "I wasn't prepared to come here alright?!"

He shrugged off his cloak and handed it to her. "You'll need this more than me."

She put on the cloak and hid under the hood. "Woah. I feel like a video game character. Don't comment on that because I know you don't understand it." She mutters to herself.

He frowned at her. "Okay," he said and started to walk with her in the other direction of where they heard the sword fight.

She tried to look back to see what was going on and happened to see someone getting stabbed. She looked away quickly and gripped the cloak.

"Come on," he said and walked away into the woods quickly.

She followed him and slowly took her hood off. "What's going on?" She asked him. "Why did someone stab that person?"

"I don't know. It could be a troll for all I know but I'm not staying to find out without my sword,"

"You have a sword? Does everyone walk around carrying a sword?" She follows behind him holding the flaps of her cloak closed with her two hands.

"Guards... Soldiers, yes," he said. "You don't?"

"No. I carry around something else." She thought back to her phone. Then looked down. "Where do you leave anyways?"

"If I told you, would you know?" He asked.

"That's true. What about location wise? Is there trees around it? Is it in a village? A castle?"

"A village," he said. "It's a cottage... At the edge of the forest but at the back of the village," he explained as he walked.

"I see. How long till we reach it?" Her breath was already labored. She wondered if there was still water in her lungs.

"An hour by foot," he said.

She stopped. "Your kidding?" She sighed and shook her head. "If you can heal yourself like that why don't you fly us there?"

"Thats unrealistic," he said.

"You think carrying a sword around with you and healing yourself after a few minutes is?" She commented and rolled her eyes.

"Well.. It's happening," he shrugged.

She sighed and walked forward, she wasn't aware of the unsteady rocks until she stepped on them and started to fall back.

He grabbed her in time. "Careful," he shrugged.

She held onto his arm and stood by him looking down. "I already hate this place." She mumbled then walked forward.

"Hey," he frowned at her.

"What?" She turned around and then paused. She quickly bent down and threw a rock behind him hitting a snake that swung down from a branch.

"Thats offensive," he said. "Whatever realm your from can't be much better than here."

"It is better than here. We have technology, cars, vaccines, food. It seems that you have... Land?" She turned away from him.

"Whats that?" He asked with a raise of his eyebrows.

"Never mind. I'm just tired and I'm having trouble breathing too. I honestly just want to think through everything that happened."

"We can camp here," he said.

"Camp? How?" She turns to him with a frown.

"We light a fire?" He saidX

"What if it rains? We are dead." She says with a sigh. She started to pace around.

"I guess...." He said.

She sighed. "We'll keep walking." She kept on walking forward.

He shrugged and walked with her quietly.

She walked besides him quietly. "I wonder.. If this place really is the afterlife and I'm never going back." She wondered out loud.

"It's not the afterlife," he chuckled, the one thing he knew what she was talking about.

"Well obviously, I expected something more glamorous than this." She said with a little shrug and looked over at him. "By the way, have a name?"

"None you need to know," he said as he walked.

"What? So I helped you and that's how you repay me?" She quickly follows besides him as he walks.

"You haven't given me a name, why should I give you mine?" He asked.

"Clara. My name is Clara. There happy?" She held her hand out for him to shake. It could have been meant in a sarcastic way.

"Xavier," he answered and looked at her hand before shaking it.
