She ran deep into the forest and paused. "Xavier?"

The figure jumped at him, reveling to be a tiger. Not an ordinary one though, one made of dirt, branches, and rock.

Xavier blinked and lifted his sword higher. "What the...?"

The animal charged at him and lunged at his sword quickly trying to get it away from him.

Xavier swung his sword at it, trying to fight.

The monster gripped the sword between its teeth and yanked at it.

"Shit," Xavier said and started backing away.

The monster growled at him and then quickly lunged at him to pin him down.

Xavier fell back, "shit shit shit," he kept whispering.

The monster roared at him and opened its mouth before it stopped when a rock hit it. "Come over here!" She yelled, having found her way back to Xavier.

Xavier quickly got away and lunged over to grab his sword again.

The monster ran towards Clara who started to run away quickly.

"Hey!!" Xavier yelled out, just as she had. At least he had a weapon.

Clara shook her head at him. "Hey!" She yelled louder.

He let her before he started running and skidded under it, blunging his sword through it.

The monster froze and started to become just a pile of rocks and dirt.

Xavier choked on some dust and sat up, covered in it. He coughed.

"You okay?" She quickly walked to him and hit his back.

Xavier nodded and drank some water from a flask he had. He glanced at her, "thank you. That was awfully reckless of you but thank you."

"Your welcome. But, mind explaining to me what that is?" She asked with a frown.

"I don't even know," he said as he stood up.

"You don't? So this doesn't happen all the time?" She pauses and looks down.

"No, not at all, actually," he said.

She groans a bit, but sees something shining. She starts digging for it.

"What're you doing?" He asked as he stoodz

"I saw something shining." She says as she throws dirt back, hitting him slightly.

He frowned slightly.

She pulled out two jewels and held one up to him. "See!"

His eyes widened, "holy shit."

She frowns. "So you don't know what it is?"

"What?" He asked.

She stands up holding the two jewels. "Maybe this is what the glowing light was."

He nodded, "maybe."

(Okay so those jewels can bring inanimate objects to sentient beings.)

"But... Do you think it made this thing... Alive?"

"I've never heard of it... But it's possible, I guess."

She frowned and got up. She gave it to him. "Better keep those safe."

He nodded, "I don't have anywhere to put them. You've seen my cottage."

"Hmm.. Well you always have the outside. Put these in a cloth and bury it. Then mark the place so we know where it is."

"Okay, I guess," he said.

She stands up. "Well. Did you still wanna hunt?"

"I was just going to take a walk."

"Oh. Alright." She nodded and looked at him.

He put the diamonds in his pocket and started walking again.

She started to walk with him. "So... Do you ever get lonely?"

"Define lonely," he said.

"Lonely... Just constantly surrounded by quietness." She said. "Uh... Not sure what to do with yourself. Wanting someone to be around."

"I guess I do," he answered.
