Not sure if biting during kissing counts, but there are several references to biting in Walk Through Fire which is Banked.

I found Now You See Her by Linda Howard on my to-read shelf...I think that's blood...372 pgs...I'll start, but confirm it can be used for 'blood' please.

Kazen Tammie - no worries, we may be able to find TA books to fill those holes, we still have a couple left in case of emergency :)

That's perfect for circle in the title - the mods haven't gotten back to me yet so we can use that, yea!

CARD 5

You've never been one to try to outdo everyone else. No one really needs to go a whole 20,000 leagues under the sea when 5,000 is plenty. You're quite sure after traveling 5,000 leagues that there's really nothing more that would surprise you down there. You've seen all the fish, sunken ships, sharks and mermaids that you could ever care to see in the sea. Just make sure to take some pictures so you can have a few rounds bought for you at the Tavern after you've returned.
Travel 5,000 leagues and take pictures! Reserve a wonderful spot at the tavern for all your stories.
Leagues may be traveled by reading books. To determine the amount of leagues traveled by a single book, round down to the nearest 100 pages, then calculate 2 to the power of the number of hundreds of pages. (Hint: use the xy button on the calculator)
Examples: 512 page book -> 5 hundred pages -> 2^5 = 32 leagues
(If not all spots are needed, x out all columns)

Tasks:
•Book 1
•Book 2
•Book 3
•Book 4
•Book 5
•Book 6
•Book 7
•Book 8
•Book 9
•Book 10

Rewards:

Their math has got to be off on that one? 10 x 500 page books would be like 320 leagues. Seems a bit impossible to get to 5000

Ray (user2637) (hugpete) | 1521 comments Right, but it's exponential. So one 1300 page book would be enough for the whole task (8192 leagues). That's what a lot of us in NRPG did for this quest. It's not really... convenient for Emerge though. :/

I don't know if wobble will repeat, but there are a couple other team challenges here and on Challange Factory that tend to pop up. I've done Wheel-a-thon and Tower teams. Wheel-a-thon was about the same as we did for this. Tower teams is closer to the task based games + wobble in climate

I'm guessing as huge as wobble is the Mods will need a breather before undertaking it again.

Yay! I'm 93% done with my challenge and even though I know I'll probably definitely finish it, I'm so anxious :/

Kazen

Congrats on finishing WOBBLE!!!

Everyone has done an amazing job - it's incredible to see how much we were able to read over the past few months! And just think of how far we've come, from Battleship and Wheel-a-thon through Labors and Emerge. Congratulate yourself - you deserve it!

This is one of the most fun team experiences I've had on Goodreads and it's all thanks to you guys! Margaret and Rose are amazing co-captains, and I feel lucky to have gotten to know everyone over the course of this massive challenge. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone around the group and watching your latest reads scroll across my update feed. :)

Interested in another team challenge? NBRC does that! There will be a breather/sanity break before the next team game, whatever it ends up being. In the past it's been four to six weeks, so keep an eye out. :)

I'm going to go through the spreadsheet over the next 12-16 hours and finalize everything, so don't be surprised if points or standings shift a bit.

Keep on rockin' and being your awesome selves, and goooo Red Pandas! :D
