There were a few light moments in the case. Your thoughts about Jerry Edgar's "discovery" at Mistress Regina's?

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments That was really funny. I couldn't imagine what Jerry found when he called Harry to come to the basement and look in the closet.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments ...odd that they did not want/let their female compatriot have a look.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments I like how they wanted to protect Kiz but I think she's actually seen more than they have. Typical male over-protectiveness.

As long as it is consensual, who are we to judge. I do think the guy might need some counseling though.

Lol! It's rare that I find myself laughing out loud in this series but this one was hilarious. Harry and Edgar's reactions were what I found funny.

And, yes, to each his own.

Me too, lol!

When Edgar said he's never drink coke again, I laughed out loud.
I felt sorry for the guy though.

I know! He just wanted them to go away.

Jim O'Donnell | 48 comments I bet the details of how they found that guy at Regina's was based on a true account the author heard from his expert advisers, who worked LAPD. I'm just guessing, but sounds like the coke bottle thing was from a real incident.

But I smiled when Garwood pulls out cigarettes out at Angels Flight and tells Harry "it's my emergency pack, I'm not supposed to open it".

This is my single favorite moment in all the author's work (and I've read all the Bosch books and all the Haller books, the Ballards, McEvoys and McCalebs)
