I just this minute joined this Group. I haven't even read any messages. I just liked the name of the group.

Although I'm middle-aged, I just started writing poetry. I hope this group isn't just for prose writers.

Little bit about me. I have been writing and re-writing, and re-writing, and re-writing a book for the last 10 years(!!! OMG) in between children, studying and working two job. Contemporary romance, is without a title but finished!! But I am more excited about reading other people creative stories and poems.

I'm in basically the same re-writing boat with a fantasy series! It's a crazy process.

I just need to get one idea and make myself stick to it. I haven't written anything new in a few months, and that kind of scares me... I just need to get back into it, ya know?

Slumps like that can be tough. It was a long time before I created something that I stuck to. I think the more immersive of a setting and characters you create, the more likely that will happen.
