For the alternate on space #59: Goodreads Choice Awards 2012: are only the 20 books on that page allowed? That's not much of a selection but I can't find a tab anywhere to bring up a list of all the nominees.

No, it's not long enough. It has to still meet the page requirements even though it's on the alternative list
