A member mentioned that they had read all of the Coffee House Mysteries. Here are some links to the Cozy Mystery site whereyou could find some coffee books for the Scavenger Hunt.

Kendra | 2672 comments Does anyone have a suggestion for a book set in Yorkshire? I prefer romcoms, urban fantasy or non fiction and don't like mysteries or thrillers.

If you haven't read All Creatures Great and Small by James Herriot there are 4 books in the series they are from Yorkshire.

The funny thing is, I have been watching that show, and debating doing a Jane Eyre reread, and I was completely oblivious to the fact of where they were set. I had just got it in my mind that the only Yorkshire books I knew of where mysteries.......

I did put a link now up on the challenge that I think you might be working on. Sorry I didn't before. My family is from Yorkshire so I could think of loads off the top of my head and I forgot that others might not. Though I was quite surprised by some books on the list. I have read some and never thought it was Yorkshire like the Secret Garden

PepperP0t | 2106 comments i'm confused on the open ended cool crayon challenge (posted 24-Oct)

i'm confused what 3 letters you'd be looking for from a 2 word title?
(i.e. #4 atomic tangerine)

The title of your book has to have 3 words in which you take the first letter of each title word and find those letters in ATOMIC TANGERINE.
Like - The Orange Girl - TOG can be found in ATOMIC TANGERINE.

OK? :)

Sheila Howes | 223 comments Clarification for Spell Outs (specifically Harry Potter - there's quite a few words with X in them!) as it's not covered in the challenge rules or the standard rules.

Can the X be anywhere in the author's name etc (as is the case for Disney Characters)? Or does it have to start with the initial X?

JoAnne | 59434 comments Mod
It can be anywhere. :)

I will add that to the rules.

I'm sorry, but no. We close challenges so we have time to monitor and come up with new challenges. Genevieve and I put out 13-15 challenges a month. We cannot monitor all of them, so we put time limits on sign-ups.

message 169: by JoAnne (new)

JoAnne | 59434 comments Mod
It means that you cannot sign up anymore or after the given date. It is a way for us to try to get rid of some of the older challenges. If we do not do it, we will have challenges that last forever.

We only have 2 mods in this group and we need it to be more manageable.
