Are they marked in anyway or have anything that makes them stand out to other people? Or do they just look like people?
Does the vaccination/treatment do anything to control them or anything different like that?
Is there a name for your treatment?
Otherwise, P.D. has some pretty good ones, in my opinion. Simple and to the point.

@ Riley: would answer your questions but as you said, P.D. already did the job for me :D
thank you guys so much!!!

Here are a couple more.
Possibly Guinea Pigs - although that would imply that they are being experimented on.
The Recovered maybe.

The Chosen (waaaay too cliché *eye roll at self* but it popped into my head haha!)
The Restored
The Mended
Annnnd hello, Miss Elodie! Nice to meet you!!
Hugs,
Ann

@ Riley. They look like the rest of the population and the vaccine doesn't control them. I simply call it "the Cure"

Personally, I dig "The Recipients". Sounds sci-fi-ey to me. Of course, it's totally outta my realm so I have no idea LOL

No, a recipient is just a person who receives something:
"the recipients of the form letter"; "the recipient of the organ transplant"; "the recipient of the prize" and so on.

I was going to suggest Clients as well. Even in nursing school we more often call people "clients" than "patients" because we don't always treat sick people, or only in a clinical setting.... :-k
I'm working on my first novel and I'm not an English native so I have a little issue with a specific word. My book (scifi romance) is about people who are provided a cure for their illnesses from an institution and I need an "umbrella term" for them. I can't call them "patients" in my case because I need something more fictional that makes them different from the rest of the "normal population". I've already considered "patients" but it seems not specific enough.
For now, I called them simply "Receivers" in lack of a better term but if you have suggestions I'd be glad to hear them!
