Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, a new play by Jack Thorne, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the eighth story in the Harry Potter series and the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage. The play will receive its world premiere in London’s West End on July 30, 2016.

It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.

I did Kindle. It fits in my purse and I didn't have to wait or go to the store

I really enjoyed this! A couple of things weren't perfect and I think it probably works better on stage but I love revisiting this world <3

I'm having troubles with this one.. I'm in Act 3 currently.

I suck, I haven't even started! I need to get cracking, I leave for Harry Potter world on the 23

Ok I am finally reading this. I was so excited when I got this book and couldn’t wait to start but now I am reading it and not loving it😞It is making me tense and sad! I am still going to read a little each day just to get through it

I'm glad you're starting! I will say I had troubles in the beginning.. it's because it's just not the same. Plus it's written as a play. It was still a cute story.

Yes I need to read this book also, I am sad to say. I have wanted to read this for a very log time now but just havn't gotten to it yet. My sisters went and saw the play in London last year and said it was really good so I can't wait!
