Amber van Anen Hello fellow reader fans. I need your help. I have already read a lot of fun series and triologies and after finishing the A Song Of Ice And Fire series more then a year ago I have not been able to find a good book series. I have tried simular books to ASOIAF but can't seem to find anything good. I love books with a strong atmosphere where it feels like you are in a totally different world . I really hope you guys know something good for me :)

( I have read these series: harry potter, first law triology, LOTR, narnia, his dark materials (LOVED IT) , divergent, mortal instruments and more that i do not know right now...)

Emma Have you tried the Wheel of Time series? It's fantastic :)

Julia I was beset by the same trouble :))) and researched some books:
1. David Durham Acacia series, 3 books. I actually read 2 of them and they are not bad, though not as good as GRRM's creation
2. Paul Kearney Hawkwood and Kings
3. R.Scott Bakker Prince of Nothing
4. Patrick Rothfuss Name of the wind
5. Daniel Abraham Dragon's path
6. Barbara Hambly Time of the dark
7. Melissa McPhail Cephrael's hand
8. Brandon Sanderson The final empire
9. Books by Guy Gavriel Kay, they are mostly stand alones but I loved them all (Tigana, SAiling to Sarantium, River of the stars etc)
10. Scott Lynch The Gentlemen Bastards, what an amazing read, recommend wholeheartedly!!!
11. Seth Dickinson The traitor Baru Cormorant (a great book)
