This thread is not linked to a specific book, author or quote, so anyone can post in this thread.
The request was also posted and taken care of in a new thread.

Only when the topic title is linked to a specific book or author, as for example in this thread: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

When a book or author is linked in the topic header (this thread is about), posts should be limited to that specific book or author.

There are threads ("please combine", "add a cover") that have hundreds of posts.
That said, adding posts to an existing thread can sometimes be confusing, especially when the request is not simple or needs explanation.
Starting a new thread is always allowed and usually preferred, and will generally be noticed sooner.
