Hi everyone, I'm planning a fundraiser for the GLBT club at the local community college through my bookstore, Carpe Librum. I thought I'd do a contest to come up with ways to promote it. Whoever wins gets $25 in store credit to the bookstore. I can mail the books to you, or if you live in Baltimore, I can drop them off to you.
The pop-up bookstore will be open to people who aren't part of the club and/or aren't students and faculty at the college. I thought I'd promote this both on campus and off-campus. I was thinking flyers and an ad in the local gay newspaper, but I'm open to other options, too. I already have two models in mind- I included a link to a photo shoot the two of them did. One of the models is obviously lesbian, and I did some light Facebook stalking on the other, and she describes herself as gay, too.
