I just added my newly published book to goodreads but when I try to edit the book info and open the file of my book's cover (provided by my book cover artist) it is rejected and says the error is that it is not the right kind of file or is too large. What are the specifications for me to add the cover of my book on goodreads? File format? Size?

Covers need to be either a JPG or a GIF. Size is rarely the problem, as our system resizes most covers if they are too large.

Also make sure you are not using Chrome while uploading the image. Goodreads' site has issues with that browser for uploading images for some reason.

I use Firefox just when setting up ads and/or uploading images.
