What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I mean YA books that follow multiple unique characters with their own motivations/personality/feelings. For example, The Heroes of Olympus series (that had 7 main characters). Thanks for your help!

Maybe something like The Baby-Sitters Club series by Ann M. Martin or Animorphs series by Katherine Applegate?

I seem to remember The Outsiders having a lot of characters.

Enid Blyton (English author, not American) has several adventure series with up to 7 main characters in them. You might try her works. But they are a bit dated (I mean, who lets their tweens run around unsupervised in this day and age, but still, the kids will love them.)

A group by Cynthia Voigt, known sort of collectively as The Tillerman novels or the Tillerman cycle, start with Homecoming, which is about four siblings, but then almost every sibling gets their own book, and their close friends met along the way do too. My personal favorite (can be read as a stand alone) is A Solitary Blue .

Shadowshaper has several MCs. You hear more from the MAIN main character, Sierra, but five other characters are heavily involved with the central plot.

I Am Number Four This series has a bunch of characters, and throughout the series they all narrate parts.

I suggest Animorphs. About six main characters, with each book in the series being through the eyes of a different one, with them basically rotating characters.

Panic (from the view of multiple ballet dancers)
Sister Wife (I think was from the views of 3 different girls)
Little Women (4 girls, 1 boy)
Unsinkable (1st in a series from the views of 4 teenagers)
Grave Mercy (1st in a trilogy in which each book is from the view of a different girl)
The Long Ride (is the first of a series about 3 teenager equestrians, preceded by The Saddle Club series)
Tenderness, After the First Death, We All Fall Down, The Chocolate War, Beyond the Chocolate War, and Fade (are all different books by the same author, following multiple characters)
I Know What You Did Last Summer, Ransom, and They Never Came Home (another set of books by the same author, but a different one then the one above)
Hush Little Baby, A Friend at Midnight, The Voice on the Radio, and What Janie Found (another set of books by the same author, but a different one then the one above)

In The Kiss of Deception, I could barely keep up with the number of character POVs.

The Outsiders is actually part of a series too. There's a few books that sort of follow, but it doesn't have the characters from that book. It's the person who tells the story, like Ponyboy did in The Outsiders ... It's been a long time, since I've read them all though. I think some secondary may carry over, like maybe Cherry telling it or "The Socs" are in the others?

The Boxcar Kids, Romona Series (there were different titles), Sara Plain & Tall, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Harry Potter, Vampire Diaries, Mortal Instruments, Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys... I'm really showing my age lol. It depends on the age and what the person reading likes. I know the Goosebumps series is still going by R.L. Stein. I was looking at what others posted and tried to give a little mixture, without duplicates. Hope that helps!

Though you have to read the first books first. They have a lot of characters too, but not as much as this one.
