Kelly (and other members who might be wondering), here's how you add a link for a book title or author.
You'll need to be on the desktop (not mobile) website. Click "add book/author" just above the Comment box. A popup will open.
You can search by "Book" title or "Author". It helps to type both the book title and author in the "Book" field/box, especially if it's a common title. Once you find the book or author, click "Add" to the right.
If you want to add the book's cover image, select the "Cover" radio button at the bottom, then click "Add".

I think the story possibly followed three children/young adults, but I know that there was a main character who was a boy. I don't really know if this is correct or not but I think he was training to become a monk, and I think maybe the monks controlled earth or rocks or something (or maybe fire), but even though he tried as hard as he could he couldn't at all, then it turned out he controlled lightning or something.
I think then he had to escape from someone who was hunting him, maybe because his abilities were rare or someone wanted him dead, but he had to leave his home. I think he was the child of someone important but no one knew, he had been hidden with the monks as a baby. I'm not entirely sure how it progressed from there, but I think a young girl was introduced at some point.
I think there might've been a sequel that had them in a foreign desert land and they had to attend a masked ball, but I don't think I read all of that one.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, this has been eluding me for quite some time!
