John Mathews (johnmathews) | 11 comments My thriller / suspense books are just 99 cents through Black Friday. I am looking for paid download reviews on here and Amazon, and am open to good review exchanges!

J.P. Willson | 14 comments My first book was published on August 25 of this year and I am looking for honest reviews. Although it has been published in the self-help genre, it is also a memoir. I have free pdf copies to anyone for a review, good bad or indifferent, it really doesn't matter. Let me know.

John | 24 comments I hope all of understand this is expressly against Amazon's- and Goodreads'- ToS and can result in getting your reviewing privileges banned. You do know this... right?

Leslie Garland | 94 comments Precisely John! It is amazing that so many either don't know this, or are putting their heads in the sand and when their "hard won" reviews disappear from Amazon, will wonder why?

Yes there are restrictions on reviews, certainly. Review swaps especially is a no-no. There is no reason you cannot review other people's books though, if we could not then this review group would not be allowed at all as Amazon owns Goodreads. They are 100% aware of this thread. Personally I was simply seeking reviews and nothing else.

Seeking reviews is fine for GR, because I'm guessing you already know Amazon doesn't accept solicited reviews- period. And you're showing your ass by trying to conflate Amazon with GR; they're two seperate entities.

The title of this thread is 'Review Exchange', which you admit is not allowed yet you asked anyway. As you're so familiar with Amazon/GR policies, why'd you put this up? Maybe you should brush up on the ToS before putting anyone fool enough to take you up on it at risk?

J.P. Willson | 14 comments The title of this thread is "Seeking Reviews/Review Exchange. That is two separate things. My understanding is that reciprocal reviews are not allowed as they would be biased (I review you-you review me) how honest would this be? As I stated I was asking for honest reviews and nothing more, is this not what this thread is about? How could this possibly put anyone at risk of anything at all?
I have been lead to believe that Amazon owns Goodreads. I may be wrong on this point but that really doesn't matter or have anything to do with asking for reviews. As for "showing my ass", I honestly have no idea what you even are insinuating by the comment
