Books on the Nightstand discussion

I have many signed copies of books and have a special bookcase for these alone. I was very lucky on Monday to attend a meet and greet with Bruce Springsteen and received a signed copy of his autobiography. I'm trying to figure out something special for this treasure! How do you shelve or display your very special books?

I won't be any help. My books are interspersed with my other books. I'm the only one who gets into my books and I know which ones are signed.

For Bruce, I might spring for a window box and put your picture of you and him next to it.

Where did you see him? How was the event?

Wendy - I was lucky to get a ticket for Books A Million in Chicago Book signing. I received a presigned book and a picture taken with Bruce!

Fantastic! I'm the marketing director for Simon & Schuster and publishing Bruce has been a highlight of this year!

Wendy - the event was SO organized and staff was amazing. I don't know how Bruce is doing this. At least 1200 people at each event for him to see!

It's pretty amazing to watch. I got to meet him and thank him on behalf of the booksellers and fans. He was super gracious. Glad you had such a good experience.

Wendy - this was #1 on my bucket list! I have been a fan for 40 years and have seen him almost 50 times all over the US. This was my dream come true!!
